I’m a Malaysia n I wanna support the airline but the general attitude of the staff’s are “the company don’t care abt us, we don’t care abt you” makes it hard. Such a shame!

Great clip, Jayden. It’s great when you get even one crew member who has a sense of humour. Even the smallest reach outs by crew make a difference. I remember asking for a second red wine after dinner on Singapore Airlines a few weeks ago, and when it was brought to me, I thanked the crew member, as I would have done anyway. I remember he lightly patted the top of my shoulder as he left. That was really nice.

I flew them once in 2014 on a 77E from Bangkok to Los Angeles via Kuala Lumpur and Tokyo Narita in biz. Extremely cheap price (£1500 when the next carrier CI was £2000) return, and I absolutely enjoyed it. 2-3-2 seating but super comfortable and decent sleep. The food was amazing. Loved the satay course!

Splendid video Jayden! I have a suggestion for a video idea if you run out of trip reports during this pandemic, what you can do is compare airline that you have tried such as Virgin Australia VS. Qantas but fingers cross you wont run out trip reports

I had always said that I would never fly with Malaysian Airlines after their 'incidents' from a few years ago. I guess I may have changed my mind on this. I have seen Malaysia Airlines have invested a lot of money upgrading their fleet. I've also seen several very positive reviews about the service, food and the lovely crew members. Once international travel is back I may give them a go.

I've been flying with them as platinum and gold member for the past five or six years. In the beginning MAS was good. They treated their frequent flyers well. They made sure the frequent flyers would have a good seat and provide an upgrade so now and then. After the incidents and financial struggling it started to affect the attitude of the MAS employees. Both ground and cabin staff don't seem to care anynore. In my opinion they lost their customer oriented focus and once so great smile and hospitality. Sometimes even rude towards passengers during the flight. Of course not all of their employees, but overall I did see significant change over the years. Also they devaluated points, so after years of savings points for something nice it isn't worth much anymore. They are really not as great as they were. I hope they can pull it together and improve to the level they once were.

The ground staff are no longer Malaysia Airlines...it's contracted to "Aero Darat" a company handling ground arrangements for airlines...

Honestly, I subscribed for quite a while now and only just realized you were local to Adelaide, lol. I would've loved to see you if I was ever up there sometime. Anyways, this review opened my eyes a lot more. The current reputation of MH really made me a bit freaked out, and I've always opted for anything else other than Malaysian even if it was cheaper than most tickets. Thus, if I ever get to go overseas again someday, Imma book that MH right away.

Honestly flying MH is such a delight and its such a shame their reputation doesn't reflect the reality they are really in the top tier of Asian carriers. I've had the same FA on a flight to MEL once and he was a scream, the meal was astonishingly good and their long to medium haul flights are often half the price of their competition.

If it's Thursday it is Jayden day !! Have been to KL many times with MAS but never knew about the garden...it looked lovely !! The lounge is very good as is the food and the view !! I agree re the security at the boarding gate...it is so silly that all classes have to queue and I am not a snob but when you pay to fly Business Class or have Elite status as you do why not have a separate line ?? A friend tells me MAS won't pay extra to the airport authority to do that !! Saving money apparently !! Right Here Right Now....I love MAS...only flown Business Class but the crew are always so friendly and the food...especially the Satay is world class. Hopefully one day (god knows when ) I can fly with them again and am planning a trip to London when this mess is all over. Thanks J...great review and I trust you are staying safe and well during these most troubling of times !!

Haha damn Craig! I didn't know about the garden until my third or maybe fourth visit. It's not big and nobody goes in there and it's really nice😝If MAS doesn't want to pay airport authority to do it then they probably should use their own staff! Nice review! I'm enrich gold member with MH for 3 years already, I fly often with them in business class and there were always great. It's nice to know they feed customers well in the economy class too, that was a decent dinner and light snacks you had. I do wish MH well, hope they will stay strong during this very difficult times.

yep though you might get better services which is expected in business class, they treat you the same across all cabins :) They're always friendly and nice to us which is something i like about MH. thanks for watching!

no idea, hopefully soon and of course when there's no more cases in Australia. I'd love to fly REX but there's not really a good reason for me to fly them, they fly to country towns and mining towns, usually for people who are from there visiting capital cities. Thanks for watching as always!

Good review Ups: the Chicken and Mashed Potatoes with Brocolini for dinner. Seats are comfortable Downs: there’s not adequate number of new movies, sometimes the flight path screen freezes. nevertheless the plane made a landing at south west runway in Adelaide.
