Willem's depiction of Green Goblin was my all-time favorite, and I was a Marvel fan since the early 1980s. He was the best representative of the best that Gobby is, was, and could ever be. OP villain? Boring. Campy villain? Boring. Snarling violent, unhinged chaotic laughing madman that is somehow also ironically a genius? Insulting. Complex, relatable, brilliant, while also deeply disturbed and driven into the arms of evil? Perfect.

The Garfield saga was not widely acclaimed as you say.. 2 was actually hated on pretty hard because of the cheesiness and the villains... As for the cartoons, the most famous one is Spectacular Spiderman (which you skipped)... ultimate was not that good... yikes... Good video otherwise mate!

In the show Spectacular Spider-Man, Norman Osborn almost shares similar traits with Roman Sionis, A.K.A. Black Mask. Both are sadistic crime lords and corrupt businessmen. Both wear masks like they're wearing who they really are underneath. Both use physical and psychological torture for intimidation and entertainment. And both are CEOs of big city companies, OsCorp and Sionis Industries. Also, Norman Osborn in Spectacular Spider-Man shares similar traits with Fire Lord Ozai from Avatar: The Last Airbender.

If Harry Osborn figures out that Peter Parker is Spider Man in The Amazing Spider Man 2, why isn't he in No Way Home? Stephen's spell brings over "everyone who *knows* Peter Parker is Spider Man from every universe into this one." This is a plot hole in every sense of the word. If Tom Hardy's Venom is in No Way Home from the knowledge of Topher Grace's Venom, Dane Dehaan should've been in the film. You had ONE JOB, Sony.

Well the fact that Ditko wanted the Goblin to be a complete stranger and Lee wanted him to be Norman Osborn was just part of it, Ditko was resentful of Marvel’s “Hollywood accounting” by publisher Martin Goodman as in not getting anything from the use of his art in the animated Spider-Man series and Spider-Man T-shirts, and Ditko at this point really disliking the Marvel Method of creating a story between the two men at this point, plus the fact that Ditko and Lee were at this point no longer on speaking terms even with Ditko handling his art over for Lee to dialog and going out of his way to avoid going into Lee’s office even. The Goblin’s identity was the final last straw for Ditko by this time though and was why he left Marvel.

Willem Dafoe's Green Goblin was in a dark twisted way, a mentor to Spiderman by teaching him that the despite his heroics the public would hate him (if only in J.Jonah Jameson in the movies) and that he would face foes who would force him as a hero, to make impossible choices .

If Black Cat does show up Disney will tone her down, Silver Sable could work in the MCU but at same time I think she'd be PERFECT for Sony's universe (same thing with Tombstone). But No Way Home DEFINITELY set up Ned to become Hobgoblin in the future/new trilogy, and I'd also want Mister Negative, Scorpion, and Mysterio for the new trilogy.

I always hated the Green Goblin he they use him to much. Especially with back to back origin stories. I always wanted to see other characters. It like how the X men milked Wolverine. But he was never the main character for me. There were other characters to expand our imagination.
