Nightcrawler Origin - This Alpha-Level Mutant's Own Mother Threw Him In A River Because Of His Looks

This powerful mutant son of a demon who was abandoned at birth has now created quite a buzz for himself in the X-Men universe. With striking blue skin and a charming personality, Nightcrawler’s looks and attitude are at odds with each other. Still, his mutant body has given him a variety of unique advantages over many of the other X-Men. Nightcrawler, better known as Kurt Wagner(0:12), is a well-known member of the X-Men. Despite his strong Catholic beliefs, he has a remarkable likeness to the Devil, with blue skin, pointed ears, and a prehensile tail. Unlike other mutants, Kurt Wagner's(0:12) devilish mutation was evident from birth, which led to him finding a spot in a touring circus, where he was nurtured as a talented acrobat and aerialist long before his teleportation skills manifested themselves. While Nightcrawler's monstrous visage appears to contradict his nature, it is really well suited to him and offers him additional skills and talents that give him an utterly distinct physiology.

Nightcrawler needs to be used more in the MCU. If they ever want to shift focus from the Avengers to the X Men, Nightcrawler should be one of the first choices after Wolverine and Charles Xavier.

Kurt is my favorite X-Men character He is the example of misunderstanding mutants get in their world. I’d say (next to Xavier) he’s the most patient and forgiving given everything he’s been through yet still is able to forgive people.

Agreed even though nightcrawler made an appearance he was underutilized in the movies and Gambit only makes a brief cameo they both deserve more screen time I would say wolverine had too much screens time, like to see more storm and also stop making Cyclops so useless in the movies, I always felt the X-Men moves for mother wolverine show and the other mutants were underutilized

The ending of First Class showed Mystique and Azazel together. We know they are Nightcrawler's parents in the comics so they may have hooked up offscreen which is how Nightcrawler came to be in X2 and Apocalypse.

He seemed to like Emma frost more which is probably why his children don't look like Mystique. Polaris looks more like Emma than Mystique. Nightcrawler is born. Then Mystique has sex with Sabertooth and Victor Creed is born and creates the bigot mutant hating group Friends of humanity. The apocalypse Days of Future cast is the outcome. Which makes sense with the movies.
