You failed to mention Cage's breakout from prison and, years later, his subsequent re-powering at the hands of his arch-rival Bushmaster 1 and his son Bushmaster 2. This re-powering made him even more invulnerable and robust, including his jacket (becoming invulnerable)-resulting in him becoming more powerful than any other test subject (him included) had ever been before, making him genuinely superhuman. Still, he has a weakness to electricity (ionizing radiation) which was a crucial component in the Power Man process. Although he can concentrate and become resistant to electricity over time, it is still excruciating, more so than any other trauma he has experienced. His abilities before the Power Man process were already formable. He possessed Olympic-level strength and near-peak human reflexes. After the procedure, he gained low-tier enhanced human strength and actual peak human reflexes, so much so that he could (with some effort) beat his best friend Danny Rand [Iron Fist] on more than one occasion. The Power Man process has been the most overlooked, prosperous, and openly sought-after success story in the Weapon Plus program. Unlike other test subjects and experiments, the operation succeeded where others were too costly, unpredictable, and uncontrollable. After his exposure to the 1st and 2nd process, Cage not only retained his mental faculties but may be capable of further enhancements. This, coupled with his ability to successfully procreate 'normal' but potentially powerful offspring without outside interference-not to mention the process's ability to transform inanimate objects (like Cages' jacket) into near-invulnerable objects make it the most burgeoning and economically viable result in the Weapon Plus program, to date. One aspect of the Power Man re-powering storyline has never been addressed. The Over Power or Powering Out that resulted in the eventual deaths of the 'successful' test subjects. This 2nd iteration of the Power Man process wasn't as successful as the first, although one can say the first was an accident. In the experiment's 2nd phase, test subjects were exposed to the Power Man process and gained superhuman strength and durability, slightly higher than Cage's abilities at the time. Still, in doing so, these subjects would eventually experience a total cellular breakdown if they regularly used their abilities to their utmost. It wasn't within their power to stop using their newfound enhanced human skills even if they tried because the process acted like a virus, slowly and radically destroying their body's tissues at a cellular level. In the throws of this powering down, their bodies temporarily gained even more durability and strength to near supernatural levels. But when this happened, they also lost the ability to process sensory stimuli and form cognitive thoughts. In other words, they became drunk with 'power', and their bodies literally and figuratively began to disintegrate into a greenish crystalline powder. These painful and horrific deaths could not be delayed or cured. It has been speculated since the Cage Comic Series run that Luke may either succumb to the same powering down that affected the test subjects in the 2nd iteration of the Power Man process, or he may have the ability (whether he's aware of it or not) to cause the same powering down (and disintegration) he witnessed so many years before. If he could consciously inflict the powering down process, he could potentially "power out" any living being or inanimate object. But it should be noted that if he has this ability [curse] lying dormant within his cells and can't stop the process from harming others, he could unwittingly harm his friends and family. If that doesn't give you pause, what if his offspring possess the powering-down ability? Such 'power' in the hands of a toddler or an immature child would be akin to giving a baby a grenade. A nuclear grenade!!! What if this power could destroy cabonadium, anti-metal [Savage Land vibranium], Wakandan vibramium, and adamantium?! Only time will tell... But as we have seen in previous issues, Mr. Sinister may have other plans because he has been 'watching'.

If they were to bring weapon x into the mcu as a project still ongoing, it just wouldn’t make any sense anymore. With all of the sources or power, technologies, advanced materials, and serums available the government or shadow organizations with deep pockets and knowledge would easily be able to create super soldiers that could go toe to toe with thanos himself. Gravitonium can be infused into anyone granting them power over gravity and also the ability to absorb people and take their memories and powers if they have super powers. They have the centipede serum which at this point could be modified with even more powers, like Spider-Man’s radioactive spider, and the heart shaped herb from wakanda. Samples of blood can be taken from both Steve and hulk or she hulk to make the serum even more powerful rather than simply being modified with banners gamma research. So with just these sources they would be able to inject a modified centipede serum giving the person super strength, super regeneration powers, super senses, super agility, enhanced durability, and heat generation powers. With the super regeneration and healing powers vibranium can be put on their bones similar to wolverine, or they could even infuse them with gravitonium giving them even more power, or best of all both. With all of those things, and an advanced vibranium nano tech suit designed to work with the powers, the person would be a rival for even thanos. Just insanely powerful. Making the avengers pointless. People like Hawkeye.

"Weapon X" is Wolverine/Logan/James Howlett, meaning he was X-10, or weapon number 10. Not the name of the program. The program was called Weapons Plus, aka The Super Soldier Program. The 2029 Logan clone/'daughter' Laura is/was called X-23, and X-24 was the male clones designation.

It's obvious that it didn't take the writers long to run out with creative or innovative new ideas.

Little known or discussed matter but X-23 is basically an emortal child. Because of her mutant ability being activated as a child she now ages different and because she underwent the Adamantium bonding as a child her bones can't grow either so she is stuck as a child for a very long time and even when she does reach adulthood she will look older but will be stuck in the body of a kid.

I know I'm nit picking but, the program was called weapons plus, wolverine was the 10th experiment hence the name weapon X where the X is the Roman numeral 10. Steve Roger's, A.K.A Captain America was weapon one. And so on.
@scottsadler42152 жыл бұрын
he said that in the video, numerous times actually.

Modern day retcon nonsense. Weapon X was a Canadian program used to experiment on mutants and had nothing to do with Captain America. I hate how comic books are always trying to rewrite the past and mix up storylines, making everything convoluted for no reason.

I always thought Sabertooth never got the adimantium because be doesn't need it. His bones heal so fast a bone could shatter to splinters and heal 100% before he could say owe.

He is definitely duped over the metal. He heals just as readily as Logan unless isn't pumped. 🌉
@shatteredking27742 жыл бұрын
In the old school comics, one of the reasons Sabertooth hated Wolverine was because he went berserk and destroyed the Weapon X facility which prevented Sabertooth from getting the adamantium skeleton just like him. He felt screwed over that they made Wolverine more powerful than him when they could of been equals.

I talked to learn something new about comics about the The Weapon X Plus. More with the X-Men Hoover's top Super Soldier programs cuz Wolverine was number 10. Super soldier to go under program the same way with Laura. I don't know if Sabertooth was one of them as a super soldier Under The Weapon X Program. But we have learned a little bit about Magneto. This powers are quite unstable with magnetism that's to understand why he control Wolverine without the metal within him.

Technically, X-23 made her debut in the animated series X-Men: Evolution in August 2003. I mean if you're gunna mention her appearance in Logan, you might as well mention that too.

originaly in the 90's cartoon sabratooth was gonna get the adamentium aswel but wolverine broke out and destroyed the facility before he could get it,later on in the comics sabretooth got the adamentium but lost it again like you said when apocalypse took it from him and gave it to wolverine who lost it because of magneto,again later on sabretooth got it again but i dont know annything beyond that.

I hate to be the one to bring real world science to a comic book… but.. lol…. Weapon H… adamantium bones… is there an in universe explanation for the addition and subtraction of adamantium during his transformation? All I can imagine is a 6 foot human skin and muscle string out over a 12 foot tall metal skeleton or a Hulk size body with an itty bitty human size metal skeleton hiding inside

Technically this video is wrong. Steve Rodgers, Luke Cage, Venom etc were not part of the Weapon X Project. Logan aka Wolverine is Canadian and of Canadian origin. He served as a Canadian soldier/mercenary/agent with the likes of Sabertooth, Leech, Silverfox, Borg, Wildcat, Maverick and other's. They were part of the Canadian special covert operation team equivalent to CIA/SHIELD known as Team X. Funded under the Canadian government's department H secret/spec operations department K. They are the creators of the Weapon X program. Which is the Canadian version of the American S.H.I.E.L.D's Super Soldier program Steve Rodgers and other's fall under. Except it's a bit more sadistic and twisted in its creations and purposes. It was producing mindless killing machines. Not enhanced soldier's and guys like Luke Cage, Steve Rodgers and others. That's why a lot of their experiments failed or were total abominations. With few good results like Wolverine, Deadpool and such. Venom not even a program lol idk what the narrator talking about? He's an alien parasite/host, something totally different. Unless marvel has altered origins of some characters and thing's again. Due to writer's etc which they've done at times.
