Not just Marvin Gaye, that lady is the beautiful and talented Tammi Terrell a superstar in her own right, sadly she died from brain cancer, these two were magic together!!!

Marvin Gaye was so handsome & Tammi was naturally pretty, she was a light skin African American woman both had powerful voices.

The musicians on this song was the house band The Funk Brothers and if you can find the isolated baseline by the legendary bass player James Jamerson , it will blow your mind.

This performance was filmed at Expo 67 in Montreal . The clip is from the DVD - Marvin Gaye in Performance 1964 - 1981 .

Motown Production was way ahead of the times. it somehow was both natural but full and ...... not that they had any unique recording technology they just really new how to use what they had real well

Generally not, this video is a year old but now usually we do the research together after the vid is over, I like to make guesses then find out the answers afterwards and go over the lyrics and such.
