Ecouter Marvin, c'est une joie. Une joie et une souffrance. Impossible de l'entendre sans que les larmes innondent mes yeux. Je suis anéanti par sa spiritualité. One thing I noticed is that Marvin never looked happier on his album covers than when he was with Tammi. If what I read is true, there was an age difference problem that never should have been . I can't help thinking about the contrast on the album's with What's going on and mercy mercy. I read that out of everyone from Motown, he was the only one her mother allowed to attend the funeral. I wonder if her death broke his heart. What woman wouldn't want to be loved by Marvin. But she appears to have low self esteem. I may be way off because I don't know if my observations or what I read was true. Seems he wanted to provoke his father and knew it would end his suffering. Not that I'm any expert, but i saw Grace Slick say no way Jim Morrison would commit suicide because he ' had it all" I doubt that. She said they would be handed drugs as they went down the street and all put most in thier pocket, Jim would take everything on the spot. When he was so high he was on the ground, people saw a super cool rocker. I saw a tortured soul who couldn't handle the fame and garbage that goes along with it. I think he was a super sensitive, which i am. People like us just want to be free and treated like everyone else. He may never have been able to appreciate the source of his gift. Sometimes a gift is more like a curse. For example, good looks. In the present world, it can be so annoying a person wants to look like normal and not stand out just because of looks. I feel sorry for serious male artists who are cursed with good looks. They know why the groupies go after them. It must be hard to find a suitable wife. In a way getting older and losing your looks and dressing casually is a blessing. Someday people might not be so shallow i guess. Everyone will be beautiful in some way. Even now, I've met people who looked like i used to, beyond geeky. But they were great people once you took the time to get to know them. It's all about the heart and soul and spirit, at least that's what i m guessing.

I felt the same way when I was in school and they announced it school wide over the school PA system. In Westside Chicago, it was like a day of mourning, everything paused for at least a day. MARVIN GAYE IS DEAD!! Black people, young and old took a while to recover. He had just released Sexual Healing, then he was taken away from us. That's why I say, all these remixes are a disgrace to his legacy. His songs are perfect as is. Leave them alone. ✌️
