The reason people like watching you is that they don't get the opportunities to do what you do. Their living vicariously through you. Whether it be fishing, hiking, hunting, camping, living on the road, but mainly it's the Freedom you have. Being able to be who you want to be, do what you want to do, live how you want to live, and just be Free. That's what this Great Nation is all about, Being Free. Ya Mav, That's why you are liked. Be Blessed my friend, enjoy life so that others who can't can, at least through you. Have a Great day Maverick!

One of my fondest memories in life was this very sound. I was a kid, trying to sleep in a cabin, on the eve of my very first tournament. I was so excited! All I heard was this sound, all night, as other campers drove in. I'll never forget it. As I get older and my health is failing, my mind goes back more and more to times like this. I'm so glad that someone else appreciates this sound as much as I.

I don’t fish much anymore because he’s older now and it’s harder for him to get out and I don’t have many fishing buddies myself. I held a rod for the first time in years this past July when I went up to Minnesota to visit my aunts cabin. It was just off the dock w sunnies and bluegill to show, but man I missed it.
