My father was a card holding member of the CPi from 1948 to '68. He was in fact, a full-time party worker living on the Party Wage. So, I grew up listening to these arguments. My problem is that the communists have not improved their arguments nor junked their jargon. However, my father, unlike this Amherst boy, lived all his life in India and fought his battles not in US classrooms but in the streets of Delhi. This man earns in dollars given by the same imperialist and lectures us? The sheer hypocrisy is staggering. Besides, Faiz and Faraz both of whomI had met and spent time talking with, were not the founders or even the leaders of the Non aligned movement or afro Asian unity but it were Nehru, Nasser and Sukarno.

Capitalism system hi socialism ko fund karti hai.. USA spend roughly 15 pc of gdp after social schemes, subsidies, pension.. Compare to USA , socialist india spend 6-7 pc of gdp after the same.. So you can spend only if you can earn. In india you can live on government ration, subsidised gas.. even govt giving money to build toilets.. We are able to do all this bcoz we liberalised economy and reject nehruvian socialism which you guys are trying to promoting.

Nice video, I completely disagree with the central thesis regarding abolition of Capitalism. Still good to here alternative viewpoints time to time. He presents old viewpoints of Marxism again in a modern context. All of us know that Marxists have good criticisms of Capitalism but that is where their contribution ends. None of the solutions offered by Marxists are practical because they aren't suggesting policies for real human societies, they are suggesting it for an abstract ideal version of it. Socialism works only in Hyper Trust based societies. A family, small tribe etc. can work out socialism amongst them but this never happens in a large population. Every species have their share of "Cheaters" in the population who try to monopolize shared resources, sadly this happens in human societies, even in the ones that tried to implement socialism. But Capitalism is flexible to accommodate corrective mechanisms whereas in socialism all you are left with is a large controling State that tries to gate keep every resource and eventually becomes the sole monopoly. Side note: The reason people from subcontinent can't be allowed to just move into Scandinavia is same why Apes(with far less sophisticated differences when compared to humans) have warring tribes. We are built with a xenophobic tendency. You can't allow overriding of a societies' culture and practices in the name of Global Citizenship.

To point out flaws in any system is very easy and even a child without any degrees or knowledge can do so. Nothing is ideal I know but marxism is worse. Implementation of Marxism is pointless since we are humans not robots. While attempting to follow the ideology fascist regimes rise and things get worse. This ideology gives rise to authoritarian rather than classless and stateless societies . Elites are the ones who take benefits from the system and start advocating marxism. Just look around and try to find leaders who are communist and compare their living style to the average people and you will see the reality.If they are successful to prevail this ideology then they will have the authority and they will prosper but common man will suffer more. This is the history and will always be the same
@usamaqasim97154 ай бұрын
Yes I do think that that is where Marxism fails. You take all the resources and industries under the Public Sector and then what? A new Elite Class emerges consisting of higher ups from the Public Sector like the bureaucracy. And the cycle continues.
