None can write or sing a song like Mary Chapin. This song is one of my favorites. The lyrics and the melody bring tears to my eyes each time I hear it. No matter how many times. She is so gifted. And is a gift to all who appreciate real musicianship.

Just 2 more little corrections, if I may - the lyrics should read: 'I could drive too fast, like a midnight's thief', to rhyme with 'grief' at the end of the next line. And, a bit further on: 'Yes, I'm just wonderin' how we know where we belong'. Notwithstanding, thanks again for taking the amount of trouble that you do with the uploads and the transcriptions.
