As with so many of Mary’s songs,, this is truly beautiful and the words really resonate - and also comfort. It is nice to know that the golden age of songwriting where the songs tell a story hasn’t quite ended, despite the efforts of the music industry to sell us rubbish.

she doesnt sing higher register songs that well in concert...at least at recent concerts we attended. Not unusual, I suppose
