Your story about the Times they are changing reminded me of a story. I was at an open mic where half the audience was 60 and over and the other half was early 20's. One couple got up to do 'Heart of Saturday Night. So the lead singer felt she had to explain what an Oldsmobile was.

Hi Mary, I guess Angus is just not a Dylan fan 😁 Lovely guitar and vocal as ever. Thanks for the recommendations. I love the community feel on here. I hope you enjoy doing these little shows as much as we do watching them. I guess now, more than ever, we all need something to cling on to. It’s great we can all ‘hold hands’ around the world. Despite what the media would have you believe, maybe the internet is not all bad after all. Climate crisis is a good way to call it. In the news just yesterday I saw South East France and Northern Italy have been hit by terrible storms, causing really bad flooding and landslides. Some have had 4 months rain in just 24 hours. Weather all around the world seems to be getting more extreme. We all need to look after our ‘little blue spot’ better than we have. Stay mighty 😊

I think the kids are smart and are aware of many things of the hard times we live in, but considering everything around, they are very grateful for every smile they get and that can be given. Like for all, your voice calms down my soul and I'm very grateful for what you are doing for us!!! You are so very universal and very personal at the same time! Hi Audrey, I’ve been delinquent in my second stroll through “SFH”. I first heard this sung by Peter, Paul & Mary back in the late 60s early 70s. Back then the words were important but the rhythm and flow was what I felt most, They were my first “rock” concert , a live in person concert in Washington,DC. After coming out the other side of the still potent pandemic, being vaccinated I do find myself at times “ sit and wonder why”? Introspective at times but mostly the Why and there are many of them to ponder. Many I have no answer for just more questions. Summer has come to parts of my Country with a vengeance, Canada too, with all that’s happened, why? Enjoy your summer with family and friends. Leave a smile wherever you visit and all you touch with your goodness. You make the World a better place to be. Peace, health, safety and blessings to you.

Dear Ms. Mary, Thank your nephew for me and tell him to keep going back to the great folk music of the 60s & 70s. I believe the first time I heard this song was in October 1964 at a Peter, Paul & Mary concert, my first, at the Carter Barron Amphitheater in Rock Creek Park in Wash., D.C. I have it on a 45 as well as a couple PP&M albums, a Dylan CD and now by you. Good song for our times not only back then but now, also. I believe anyone who has heard this song at sometime in their lives have lived this song. I know I have. Someone wiser than me said, “Life’s a journey, not a destination “, isn’t what last week’s selection and this week’s is all about? So as we ride our journey through life we should , at least once a day, do something for someone else. Quietly, no reward, nor broadcast it, just to help. It doesn’t need to be great for life’s smaller deeds are the real treasures. Bless you for sharing your talents with us these Sunday mornings. Bless all who listen, bless and watch over those in need. Our Country has been blessed with great abundance and generous people who daily think of others and not themselves as they fight to save lives whether fighting fires out west or the pandemic across this nation. They are “the common women and men” whose sacrifices go untold but we, the recipients of their deeds, should never forget their dedication. Even the smallest action or deed can be a huge prayer answered to those in need .
