​@TerriTildon-ij4ek I believe he said she was a vocal coach not his vocal coach. Sofia is his only vocal coach & therapist for the past 15 yrs. Tara reacted to one of his covers earlier this year and asked him if they could do something together and this is how this collaboration came about 😊

This difference you highlight is there. I totally get what you mean. Tara has a beautiful voice and tons of technique. But Erik is the one bringing depth, sincerety and even a bit of pain and "sorrow/sadness" to the song.. Yes. He's pulling it from the core of his heart and soul.... That's why he "gets to" people.... 😭👏🏼

While their voices blend well, it’s a little over produced for me. I think Erik could have done a better solo version. I follow Tara but her singing (personal opinion) is way too over processed in post production on this song. That being said, it’s a nice pop version of the song.
