Definitely my favorite version. Tim was perfect for it and I really want more of Rob and Bastien singing together . Thanks for the Home Free reactions

That's called Tim's growl note or his "Dragons Breath" when he hits that bottom growl note. This group sounds perfect to me.

Tim is known for rattling ribcages during their concerts as well as breaking speakers 😅 and then there's the story of actually plaster starting to fall from the ceiling 😅😅😅. There is a fancam recording on YT of Tim breaking speakers it's hilarious and another called Tim Foust vibrations literally showing what his low notes can do to a Phone-camera - you will love it!

Tim also told a story of him blowing power at a fair and people got stuck on a Farris Wheel

I, too, feel that Bastien and Rob blend their voices so well . Just like Chance and Rob mesh together. As for Tim, this is my favorite use of Tim’s voice. He’s done this in “Everybody Walkin This Land” and “Fulsom Prison Blues”. And his vibrato in this one is fantastic.

You just heard Tim release the dragon. The first time I heard him do that was on The Sing-Off. They sang Ring of Fire and there was no looking back. You can watch it. It launched them from regional to national and international prominence.. That was eleven years ago. They have all improved a lot since then.

Geoff and Tim have both sung on Voice Play’s “Just Sing” and “Zombies vs Hillbillies” but not at the same time and bass was not a focus. Tim usually is trying to replace a bass guitar in the arrangements, not focused on highlighting the low notes. “Your Man”, “Ring of Fire” (especially The Sing Off performance) and “Misty Mountains” with Peter Hollens are a few of his most notable bass songs.

Yes!This is my favorite version of this song, ever! Tim’s voice is perfect for this song! The Grinch actor was fabulous and brought some sass and some pretty good moves for a grinch! Love it! Love that “Skunk” note by Tim! It gets me every time! I know when it’s coming but always shakes me to my core! lol Tim hits some really low notes in Home Free’s cover of “Folsom Prison Blues”, their original Sea Shanty “Skull and Bones” and a few others. He goes down in the bellows. Great reaction!

He does go that low on occassion, but only if it fits the song (studio recordings, mind). Home Free doesn't overuse their extreme lows and high capabilities, which I very much appreciate. Tim has actually broken the occasional speaker on live concerts. People have reported several times that they feel the low tones to their bones, even in seats further back. As I've yet to see them live (I hope they do a Europe tour next year) I cannot confirm that but I did watch videos where the camera (smartphone) was shaking. Adam (Rupp) has been known to overwhelm the occasional speaker, too. Home Free and VoicePlay have one collaboration, which is Survivor (on VoicePlays channel) and Tim appeared in VoicePlays (cover I think) of Just Sing (watch with subtitles on, they tell you who's who and are quite funny besides). This is defitinitely my favourite version of the song. Tim was the perfect choice to take lead in the song. Thanks for the reaction.

Tim’s range is incredible! He has a solo album of him doing sone old, doo-wop songs. You’d never believe that someone that has that low a register could also have such a high one. He’s just awesome. 😎

Tim has ruined many a speaker system and literally caused ceiling plaster to fall. What always kills me about his bass is that he can hold those notes for so long. And I'd like to second the suggestion of checking out The Bass Gang, try "Valhalla Calling", you're in for a treat

I’ve been away from your channel for a bit then saw this reaction and had to watch - I’m old enough to have watched the original every Christmas. Got me wondering if I had missed you possible reacting to The Warning, but it does not look like you have. Not metal, but considered to be the best rock band at present. If I may suggest a song: Hell You Call a Dream, Pepsi Centre, 2023. kzbin.info/www/bejne/qWfFkHmdhtOLgposi=kzUEFIxLhrInWaA4
