Without this multitalented Lady you don't blaze a trail for Miss Miranda Lambert! Another point in the favor of Miss Mary Kay Place.💃🎤🎼🎵🎶🎸🎹🎻🥁🌹❤🎥B.W.

I really loved all of Mary Kay Place's music back then and still do today.

This is pretty good. She is one of my favorite actors and it's just so weird that she also has two country albums out that I never knew about.

She didn't get my attention until later, but being from Tulsa we were covered up with talent and Mary was a big star to us. And I didn't hit it until the 80s on TV. But playing the Camelot in Tulsa was the center of fun. Lol

Is she the same girl that played Radar's girlfriend on Mash in one episode?
@kentclark64203 жыл бұрын
Yep. Mary and her friend Linda Bloodworth wrote three episodes of MASH. Including the one she was in.

Nice description. I have her CD and have been singin' Dolly's Dive for several years. Great records, songs, singin' and playing.

I just picked up a copy of "Tonight" - haven't spun it yet but now I'm interested in doing so. I got it because she and I went to the same HS - at different times but she, not unlike Dwight Twilley, Leon Russell, David Gates (Bread), JJ Cale.....etc. are Tulsans!

Country? Yes. Alt Country? Not even close.

Her first album was a serious effort too, save for the two novelty songs from "Mary Hartman, Mary Hartman."

This is NOT the song she sang on "All In The Family". She sang a duet with another girl and the song was called "If communism comes-a-knocking at your door, don't answer it"

This song was written by Shel Silverstein. Not comedy at all--it's actually quite sad.
