Jesus just changed the reason of the blessing, He didn't deny that Mary is blessed. Holy Spirit said through Elisabeth that Mary is blessed because she believed the words of God. "Let it be to me according to your words" Mary said. So she hears the Word od God and obeys it and that is the most important reason of the blessing.

I’m pretty sure this video was intended for catholic educational purposes, not for there to be so much hate here. (I also converted churches a couple times because I am concerned about the wrongdoings of the members and I have prayed for them often. The churches I have went to I have needed mental help and therapy because of the misogyny and hate there, claiming it is for the love of God. I have also been psychologically abused and damaged throughout my young adulthood and believe me, I honestly dont blame people for converting churches or religions, because of the people attending these churches, that is just my opinion)

For evidence that the RC church is pagan go to Images of the Roman Catholic church. The mother of god title is Isis the mother of Horus and the queen of heaven title comes from Isis, queen of heaven. The phrase mother of God traces back to the third century and continues to be used in some liturgical churches, including the Roman Catholic Church. Catholics DO NOT worship the Virgin Mary, the Handmaid of the Lord, and the one God chose to give us the Human side of Himself, the man Jesus. We greatly honor her for the just stated reasons. I am a Catholic-convert and was a very active and practicing Protestant in the honorable sects of Methodist, Presbyterian, and Baptist religions for 20 years, so I understand the complaints against the Blessed Mother and Jesus on the crucifix. The crucifix reminds us that our sins were paid for by this perfect man without sin. The Blessed Mother reminds us to be humble and to seek nothing for ourselves, but to give generously the way Jesus did. Mary is the mommy who nursed her baby, kissed him when he fell down, and taught him as a little boy how to put his hands together and pray. She consoled him when other children didn't play fair, and to be patient with others when they acted badly and he didnt, and neither did he want to! However, he was just a kid too. Jesus had to learn to crawl, walk, and run and eventually to the cross. Many Protestants don't understand that Jesus had to walk in faith the way we do and he really needed a mommy always representing a softer side in understanding the brash human nature. Jesus had to choose what he did with his life at a very young age, and was acutely aware of how he responded to others. He always chose rightly because he had no stain of original sin, but I do not believe that it was always easy! He intentionally chose to not sin, to lay his life down, and to be obedient to Torah. That was his mission on earth, yet was tempted in every way as a human man.

He gives us free will to discern from the heart with openness to His Grace. Only then can we understand His love. If we analyze every part of the bible individually then we never receive the completeness of His will for each of us individually. As Mary did for 30 years...She pondered everything in Her heart.. Thanks to advanced medical technology, a woman can conceive a child by having donated sperm injected into her cervix or uterine cavity. This sperm could have been donated and stored in the sperm bank many years before the birth of its recipient. Thus the beginning of the child born in this case had truly occurred before that of the mother who gave him or her birth, and therefore, a woman can give birth to a child who is older than she is. By mentioning this reality, I don’t mean to promote or agree with artificial insemination (AI) in human, for I believe that God is the only author of life and death, and that a child is a gift from God. I agreed, however, when AI is used in animals, for God gives us dominions over all animals. Gn 1:27-28, (27) So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them. (28) And God blessed them, and God said to them, "Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth and subdue it; and have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the air and over every living thing that moves upon the earth." The point I want to make here is that by man or by the the power of man, a woman can give birth to a child who is older than she is; God, the Almighty, shouldn’t have any problem having his Eternal Son born of the Virgin who is much younger than His Son is. So to say that Mary can not be the Mother of God simply because she is younger than God is to undermine the power of the Holy Spirit.

Your understanding (actually, MISundestanding) is an ancient error, by the name of Nestorianism. Please, study Christian history, and you will not make the same old mistakes. He also denied Mary as the mother of God, by attempting to separate Jesus' humanity from His divinity. But this is not possible. His two natures are part and parcel of His person-hood and cannot be divided. Mary is the Mother of God (the Son) and it is Biblical. The Word of God (who is God, according to John (1:1)) has a divine nature, co-eternal, co-divine with the Father. The Word BECAME a MAN, (also expressed by John1). So, the Word (the Son) thence had TWO natures, human AND divine, and these two natures are INSEPARABLE. You are right, insofar as the pagan religions had lots of concepts and phrases, predating Christianity, which have similarities in the Christian religion. For example, Son of God, Lord, Savior, the Word. The difference is, the Christian versions are not false pagan things, they are ,the REAL ones. Queen of Heaven, and Mother of God would be other phrases of Christianity which had false pagan versions before Christ. Your reasoning, that Mother of God is de facto pagan because pagans used the term before Christians, is a logical fallacy (known as "Post hoc ergo proctor hoc"). As I said, the Christian versions are the TRUE ones and are not human inventions. They are God's doing, not man's. Israel's idolatry with pagan gods doesn't mean these Christian terms are false. Israel was the metaphorical bride of God and their idolatry was tantamount to adultery. But God's covenant promises kept Him from destroying Israel for her crimes and He fixed it all with the Incarnation of His only begotten Son, the Word of God made Flesh, named Jesus, who paid Israel's debt for Sin and also the rest of the world's debt for Sin as well, as many as accept His Gift. Mary is the mommy who nursed baby Jesus, kissed him when he fell down, cutting & loosing teeth, and taught him as a little boy how to put his hands together and pray. He CHOSE to sacrifice his life for mankind because HIS FATHER ASKED HIM TO. Otherwise, there would have been no need for his faith in God. Jesus was sinless because he "always chose rightly." Otherwise the bible would be lying when it is said that Jesus was tempted. A being that is INCAPABLE of choosing wrongly or sinning CANNOT be tempted. This is why the bible teaches that God cannot be tempted. By the way, God DOES NOT have a "human side." Today is the feast of the "Immaculate Conception". Mary was conceived without the stain of sin and never sinned her whole life. Her salvation through Jesus Christ was pre-ordained... God is not subject to time. So you are right. It wouldn't make sense that a sinful human could give birth to the perfect Son of God.

She has no authority of her own, only performs her duty to serve God - first as the handmaid of the Lord. Those of you who deny the authority Jesus gave to Peter (what you bind on earth...
