That is actually one of the prettiest of all the British royals wedding dresses! Most have had long sleeves and a higher neckline but this dress with little shoulder caps is just gorgeous and she would have loved smelling the orange blossoms as she walked down the aisle! Just a beautiful dress,

Look at the chokers…Princess Diana wore a lot chokers. Queen Mary collected fabulous jewellery which is the Queen Elizabeth own jewllery. Now belong to Charles her son.The Royal Collection is fabulous.

She had a tiny little waist due to excessive corsets worn at the time. He waist was about 17 inches and her bust was massive, which made it look smaller.

Exquisite gown, but this description?? “The bodice was high cut at the throat?” Who wrote this description? It was high enough cut to cover the bust, but certainly not up to the throat. Despite that, it is quite a beautiful gown and looked lovely on the wearer. I wish we could have seen the *whole gown all at once and not just pieces of it in slow motion.

QM was an inspiration and great teacher to her granddaughter QE2. She would visit commoners in their homes for tea. She and KG were known to mix mingle /engage in “ walk abouts” always shared her wisdom and the importance of service. Has been said she herself saved the RF from ruin and losing popularity. She was loved by the people. She dodged a bullet not marrying Albert. Was suspected to engage in s’xual activities with men / boys. Cleveland street was a known homosexual brothel . At the time homosexuality was a crime and punishable. When the house was raided his name came up several times. Rumoured he passed of syphilis which was affecting his mental health …killed him not influenza. He was also on the list of 10 most likely suspects as JACK THE RIPPER . The palace conducted the largest “ cover ups” concerning Albert. Always a going concern. Due to fact none of these claims were ever proven …. Interesting old school RF gossip . RF history is fascinating

There are so many interesting videos ruined by the voice of the narrator. High-pitched "little girl" voices which are especially annoying; thick, regional accents which are difficult to understand as well as the flat, 'gruff' accents. Such a pity.

@@judyweeks1480 the Emmanuel’s wanted it big due to the size of st. Paul’s cathedral. They wanted her to stand out I guess you could say. It was not the most beautiful dress, but it certainly was iconic for its time. I would have liked more detail on the train since it was so long.
