I cried happy tears as a sign of a lost loved one for me or a blessing for me is a cardinal. I have lost a lot of loved ones this year who have made a huge impact on my life and always been here when I needed them no matter what. I just have to say thank you 🙏. Your videos did something good twice this week. 1) you filling up your pills reminded me I forgot to take my own before bed 2) I learned from your videos about having to prime IVs before you put them on and a nurse at a hospital made a mistake with my grandma and after spraying IV medication all over the bed she then left a full line of like 90% air. If I didn't know that it shouldnt be this way from your videos I wouldn't have known to ask the nurse to re-do it!

I also have to take Vitamin K for bleeding, from time to time. I would end up with 50-75 bruises all over my body, for no reason. My doc even took me in private to ask me if I was being beaten, because of the amount of bruises. Anyway, we found out that it was from low Vit. K (not K as in potassium, although I have had that many times too). And we never figured out why it gets so low, when it does. Anyway, the vit K pills never looked like the pill you showed. However, as a kid, my parents were really into organic foods and vitamins. They sold them, informed people about them, and we had to take them many times a day. At the age of 8, I could take about 10-20 in one shot. As I am sure you could too. Anyway, one of the pills that we took was Vitamin E. And it was a clearish light brown/tan color. All of that to say that, I am thinking that the pill you showed us, was E. Also, as kids, my family moved many times. And everytime we moved, they would find random pills in weird places, like behind large kitchen appliances, between/under the sofa cushions, and in the bathroom cabinet drawers. It wasn't till we were adults, and got together for Christmas, that the topic came up again. Me and 2 of my siblings all admitted to hiding them on many occasions. Thank God my dad saw the humor in it, as we did. I wonder how much money parents wasted throughout the years, do to the many kids hiding their pills. lol

Peter, Aldi has their brand of Raisin Bran Crunch and its really good. I also like their Cinnamon Toast Crunch even better than the brand name one. I also wanted to know if you guys had a hummingbird feeder. Those birds are so darn cute! The trick for the ants with those is to put vaseline all at the base of the pole you hand the feeder on so the ants cant get to the sugar water. Friends of ours stuck their feeder to the kitchen window that was by their table so the kids could watch the birds while they were eating.

Mary, you've reminded me of the time when I was under ten and I didn't like the colour of my toothbrush and I didn't like the taste of the peppermint toothpaste, so I hid the toothbrush under my mattress. Sadly, today, between long term chronic illness and horrible dental hygiene, my mouth is now full of fillings and a selection of broken teeth. At least now I have a pink toothbrush and toothpaste that I can cope with even though I still don't like peppermint.

I had a pill mishap recently-I was on seperate tablets for calcium & vit. D, but the pharmacy said several mths ago, why u paying more 2 buy seperate tabs when u can get vit D & calcium together-so I did that, but it appears In the last couple of months, I picked up just calcium, not the combo pill-my vit D levels were nonexistent-my dr said he has never seen levels that low. I’m now on 3 vit D tabs per day now, for at least a month, then they will recheck. Goes to show, u gotta really watch what ur doing when ur buying over the counter tablets-the mistake wouldn’t have happened if it was a script, I’m fairly sure! I was ridiculously fatigued when we found out about my vit D levels, sleeping 12+ hrs and still feeling fatigued, but after a week of mega doses of vit D, I’m starting to feel a little better!!

What do doctors do in cases of CF where the drugs are what you become resistant to it. I know you've dealt with bacteria that is resistant to any drug pretty much.

I don't have CF but I do have health issues that require I take a lot of pills. It's so comforting that others have the same pill routines. I walk with crutches so carrying things is not easy. I also fill my "comblers" on the bed and my husband carries my basket and comblers back to the cupboard where they're stored. The other day he dropped the comblers and broke it. Pills. all. over. the. floor. I take expensive pills also so I can't afford to throw them out. I was in the kitchen, he was in the bedroom, I heard the shower of pills falling on the hardwood floor, here comes my husband with his head down. He picked up all the pills, sorted them into piles and I went and put them into their sections-morning, noon, evening, bedtime again. It wasn't the first time this happened. Oh the arghhh of it all. I think only a pill sorter can relate to something like this. By the way the assortment of birds at your feeder is amazing. Love it. I live in north central California and only see brownish birds with an occasional other neutral colored one.
