I played 2 last year, the ending made me cry, and currently playing Finale, still one of my favorite dungeon crawler serie even though Corruption is a bitch. It deserves a lot more credit, but would have been easier to recommend without the Compile Heart fan-service. Thanks for the video.

Moero. Like Moero Chronicle and Moero Crystal. First person dungeon rpgs with a lot of fanservice and lewd elements to character designs and story. Released on the Vita years back but no one would localize it until Switch came along.

I was referring to Moero Chronicle H and Moero Crystal H. They have a similar rubbing minigame and are also first-person Dungeon RPGs, like Mary Skelter.

So are we really not going to mention Etrian Odyssey? Really? No one's going to thank the original game that this series shamelessly rips off? It's literally the exact same game, blow for blow. 99% plagiarized content, a full-on, unabashed clone with virtually every single facet of the core gameplay, and nobody knows this? Damn. Etrian Odyssey was one of my all-time favorite franchises on the original DS and 3DS. Love those games. And so, I'll be picking this one up and giving it a shot as well. Looks good. I just wish people knew/respected this game's roots and who it owes its existence to. Y'all better recognize (lol)

@@CaptainRufus oh wow, good intel. I had no idea those existed. Though to be fair, the UI, controls, mechanics, and the map are all Etrian Odyssey's, not Wizardry

Etrian Odyssey did not start the first person Dungeon crawler RPG sub-genre just so you know. The Shining series was doing this long before with games like Shining The Holy Ark, and Shining in the Darkness, as well as other series like Shin Megami Tensai, Phantasy Star 1...there were plenty of others that came out a long time ago.

@@dextersbeard3472 No I didn't know about those games. The Shining series looks great! The soundtrack and the sounds NPCs make when they speak reminded me of Golden Sun and when I looked it up, it turns out it was made by Camelot, the same guys. Neato.

He's not wrong though. Each time you gain a new party member, you get a new ability from each of them that helps with exploration, including finding treasure you couldn't get before in older dungeons
