This is a very good informative tour of the home. I lived in Lexington in 1975 and 1976, when the house was empty and boarded up. It has been beautifully restored and furnished, along with the gardens. Once this pandemic is under control, I'd love to visit in person.

Well done. I like that you took time to train the camera on individual exhibits so that I could freeze frame and have a good look at them!

Love the video so much! Everyone knows the music was written for the Ken Burns series and is not actually a Civil War song, right?

A lot of people probably think 'Ashokan Farewell' is from the era, but it's become so synonymous with the Civil War at this point it makes sense. Thank you for the comment!

I’m here because it will be the second time that my girls chose Mary Todd as their famous American 🇺🇸 we chose her because we are related on my mothers side. My grandmothers maiden name is Todd. Very good video!

Thank you it’s such a interesting perspective to see a young person reflecting on the fathers and mothers of our country what a difficult time that must’ve been and how horrific to have your own son to have you incarcerated like that wow very interesting loved the photos love the inside peak of their world thank you so much love and light🙏🌸😁
