This product was the first introduction to deep conditioning for me. It was a light protein that strengthen and helped my hair to grow longer & stronger. My hair had more luster, shine and salon results.

This deep conditioner is wonderful. My plan is to use it as a base and add avocado, honey and olive oil. If you have low porosity hair, your strands will LOVE this combination!

This particular one wasn't the one from most of our childhoods. This one is fairly newer and labeled super cholesterol. It has keratin protein in it while the other was just labeled cholesterol conditioning cream. I use both products in different ways for different reasons.

@@noonie59 I use the super cholesterol to prepoo and detangle after removing a protective style. I mix the old school cholesterol with oils, some form of liquid protein, and a reconstructing conditioner and deep condition with it before getting a protective style.

@@oldsouljs8042 thank you! Last question (I promise), do you wash out the original that’s mixed with the oil and protein treatment or do you treat it as a leave in when Doug your protective styles? I REALLY appreciate the details you mentioned. It’s genius!

@noonie59 going by what she put, she most likely washed it off like how you would do with most deep conditioners.
