Jerry GG never more than once and it depends on how damaged your hair is. i used this once a week on wash day (i only wash my hair once a week) as a pre poo for a month. after that even though my hair wasn’t 100% i didn’t want protein overload so i used protein deep conditioners when i wanted protein to finish rebuilding my strands. if your hair isn’t that damaged then MAYBE twice a month. especially if your hair is protein sensitive

Jerry GG do not do more than once a week in search of instant gratification! space it out and have patience. its like skincare. but what masks are different? the protein treatment and protein deep conditioner? the treatment is raw protein but the deep conditioner also adds an element of moisture and is less strong to be used on a consistent basis.

Great video. My Mom did this on my hair as well, and I continued it. General rule: Dry brittle hair- use the yolk of the egg only Oily hair- use the white part of the egg only Combination hair-use the whole egg

Y’all this works I did it and rinsed with warm water and washed it with a moisturizing conditioner and y’all my hair was so soft and my hair......NO SHRINKAGE and it was loose and soft as heck!! I can’t say this will happen for everyone else but this is a really good mask for your hair😊😊😊😊

this is a really good inexpensive protein treatment for hair, i have been doing this treatment for over 10 years now. Not to over step, but mayonnaise ingredients are purly eggs and vinager which are both great. you dont needthe extra raw eggs. after your treatment your hair will be stronger and shiny .

Notice she didn't apply the mixture directly to the scalp. If you suffer from dry/itchy scalp, excess protein can worsen that!

this saved my hair after box bleach and dye, box dye again over it and more bleach and dye at the salon in only ONE USE. will be doing it again this week but my hair bounced back SO quick after using this. two weeks ago it was dry and my curls weren’t really there, this week my curls are popping and my hair is not dry. i added a bit of essential oil to block the smell and it worked wonders and now i can wear my hair down with NO product and it has little frizz and looks amazing. 💕 THANK YOU! you’re out here doing gods work.

My hair has not been looking how I want it to look lately. I’m 95% sure I have moisture overload because I haven’t used a protein deep conditioner in a couple of months, and also, my hair has been very limp and overly soft and my curl pattern seems next to non existent. I just did this about an hour ago. I used coconut oil rather than evoo, rinsed it out, used L’Oréal deep conditioning hair mask, and then did a cowash with tresemme conditioner. Finger combing with conditioner works best for me. I followed up with hair growth oil that I massaged in my scalp. Towel dried and mixed savile curl cream and vitamin e oil in my hair. It came out 20x better. I actually have curls again

This stuff really works. I am natural and cut my hair 3 times. I was natural those times before cutting my hair too but before the first time i cut my hair all the way off I had thick hair. It took a minute to grow but was so think and healthy. That's before I started trying all of the new stuff. Now my hair has grown but it's so much damage and it's not as thick as it used to be. I decided to go back using only egg, deep conditioner, and mayo, like usual used to.

Did this because someone recommended protein in my hair. Bleached my hair two days ago, yesterday it was just wavy, curl pattern lost 😞. Did this mask today, left it in a whole two hours, washed hair and conditioned. My hair is still struggling, it’s very high porosity right now BUT my curls are back! I’m peeking them 👀 not completely but they’re back. A few strand still struggling. Hair feels dry, still. But I will continue and keep you updated, I think I’ll do this mask every two days.

Actually just tried this on my hair, but I don’t think it worked for me. I have dry hair and so I thought this would be a good mask to bring in moisture but I feel like it made my hair oily. I think this technique is great but I don’t think it worked for me 💓 Also, did you shampoo afterwards ? I didn’t and I think that’s what led it to be oily

Do this type of protein treatment leave your hair without moisture. Some protein treatments strips your hair of moisture and they have to do a deep conditioner to replenish the moisture in the hair.
