I have 4C hair and this grew my hair and made it stronger. The more I used this mask, the more manageable my hair because. It started to become less dry and brittle and a lot stronger. Using Cardi’s mask and protective hairstyles definitely sets your hair up for the the best. I was blown away when I got my silk press.

I've experimented with this method and can confirm it truly does work. Just apply reactivate serum by littllexttrra daily at night and when you wake up just wash your hair with plain water. Weekly or biweekly, apply shampoo and oil the hair. Monthly, wash your hair with simple rice water. Do this for at least 4 months and you'll nice hair growth.

I'm a white girl with confused hair and I learned everything about caring for frizzy wavy/curly hair with black girls. I spent years with weird shapeless hair and I absolutely hated it, I would either fry it with a straightener or have this awful frizzy mess. Now my hair is very soft and I can either use it curly or straight and there's no frizz or breakage. Thank you for sharing y'alls tricks it changed the game for me!!

There's really no reason to go the black women for hair care tips when the entire beauty care industry has catered to your Eurocentric beauty standard for centuries. There are plenty of products and tips available on social media platforms and in the communities of your own human population, from women with your exact hair type. If you can't find them, that means you didn't look hard enough, or just don't care to look. Black hair care is not some Halloween custome you get to try on for size, because you can. Try educating yourself on the history of black hair first, before feeling entitled to spaces that are not designated for you. And please do not ever compare your frizzy white girl hair to the unique afro-centric hair. It's a huge spit in the face to our ancestors, who endured centuries of their hair being discriminated against and desecrated by your bigoted ancestors.

I can say that this mask is great in aiding with retaining moisture in your hair. When your hair is moisturized it is less prone to breakage which in turn helps with length retention causing your hair to grow long with no breakage where you began to see a difference in length. I do this myself at least once a week, also keep in mind every one hair is different and there is such a thing as over moisturizing. Hope this helps someone better under what this mask is truly for!

You forgot mayo has vinegar too which is essential for ph balance. That's why the curls snap back. I used to use straight mayo in high school when I wore my hair natural. After I started relaxing my hair again, if you put the store bought mayo, your curls WILL come back after relaxing. Just looser. Like crimpy hair. I have 4 something (abc whatever🤷🏾‍♀️) and the curls come back so to avoid that, leave out the vinegar. Relaxing changes the ph balance and vinegar brings it back.

This is an at home cholesterol treatment, the reason why it works is the oils and fatty substances in the mixture. The egg and mayo actually don’t add protein to the hair like most people believe , mayonaise is oils and eggs with seasoning, and the egg yolk is the part of the egg that nourishes the hair, full of healthy fatty acids and other nutrients. Great DIY mask that reinforces the lipid barrier of the hair strand by feeding it penetrating oils/fats! Butter gives similar results, popular African practice.

🤔 FYI it will take a couple of weeks or even months before you see results, just need to be patient! Oh yeah make sure you are not protein sensitive specially with the eggs and coconut oil. Your hair will be thick and grow depending on hair type, genetic and hair porosity! Good luck it works cause I been using this type of DC for a while and sometimes you can mix it, use honey, yogurt or even a regular conditioner for base for protein sensitive ! You can also add essential oils to help with the smell too just couple of drops! Patient is the key not everyone’s hair is the same☺️ good luck😉

Mmmm i don't know if I agree these particular ingrediants let your hair grow LIKE CRAZY. I have used these specific ingrediants for the past 10years after I went natural. I will say it may aid in length retention by minimising split ends and helps to maintain moisture. But do not be fooled using certain ingrediants will let your hair grow extra fast it's all about maintenance.

You're right. It helps strengthen the strands which contributes to length retention. It may provide nutrients to the scalp and hair follicles and encourage growth but it's length retention for the most part. Vitamins help your hair grow though.

Lies....this helps make your hair grow, stops shedding and helped my thinning, made my hair soft and shiny. Use rice water to rinse and follow up with coconut oil and jojoba oil and castor oil, and tie your hair up in a soft scarf. Facts this works. Don't believe anyone who says otherwise. Cardio added her own twist but this is what the dominican salons do and old fashioned salons and home kitchen salons.

@@frenchlove9520 The positive results you mentioned has to do with the hair strands. It definitely helps with strengthening the strands which helps maintaining length. Cardi's dad is of Dominican decent, and her mom is also Caribbean from the more English parts. Avocado and egg/mayo hair masks are very common in Dominican haircare, and the Caribbean in general. As long as you're not greasing your scalp, that clogs the pores and defeats the purpose of hair growing out of the scalp. Just oil the scalp with olive oil... or oils that can soak in, not petroleum jelly type hair greases. Happy hair growing ladies! 😘❤🌹

@@nataliewalters2759 I understand. I'm mixed, my father is Black and the women in his family grease their scalp. Much of which was passed on as hair Care through the generations of Black people to moisturize the hair for men and women. As I studied Trichology (the study of hair) in cosmetology school, I came to find out that the pores on our scalp actually get clogged by the grease as opposed to natural oils. There is hair growing out of these pores, if we grease them, it WILL hinder hair growth no matter how long... imagine how long your hair would be without greasing the scalp and using oil! Rosemary, Aloe and Olive oils are SOME of the great replacements for greasing the scalp, and your cuticle (hair) will be shiny, long and lush! Happy Hair Growing! 😊🌹

This will grow your hair. #1 your keeping it hydrated by adding those rich oils. And then your conditioning via the avacado. Which is rich in nutrients. Plus the added strengthening and growth oils. Castor especially. I learned my hair years ago. With natural hair, that's what you have to do. I learned water based coconut oils dry my hair out. Once you get your concoction, you will know how to keep your hair healthy and flourishing.

I have 3c hair. But I do hair. And my hands are known to grow hair. My neice has 4b hair. Make sure you have a conditioner, strengthener, oil and sealant aka barrier oil or lotion (to lock in the moisture.) I use all natural oils, I also use Do-gro, and Shea Moisture Jamiacan Castor oil leave in conditioner. I make sure to co wash atleast 2 times a week aswell. Braid and leave alone. When I clean my scalp, I look for a clarifying shampoo. One I use thats not labeled "clarifying". But acts as one, is the Cream of Nature Shampoo (red bottle). Scalp health is a must. Because it's the source of growth. Keep it clean. Oils can go on the scalp, but keep the grease off the scalp. It cloggs the pores.
