I now always filter out the incentivized reviews on the sephora site. It's shocking how many there are for each product.

I do the same thing Haley! There have been products where I click “certified purchase” and there will be 3 maybe 4 reviews but if you don’t click the certified purchase there’s a ridiculous amount of amazing reviews!

I agree! I MOSTLY only see incentivized reviews on Sephora sadly & I honestly don’t always look at them anymore or I skip over the ones that mention it. ❤

The Sephora reviews… I’ve been having to filter them so I can see the Verified Purchases. There was only 14 of those when I last looked at the reviews for the ND concealer. Been having to filter them like that for at least 2 years. I’ve noticed just with other shopping sites, they seem to upload reviews from the brand’s site to boost the amount of reviews for the product but even with that you have to worry about whether the brand only let through the positive reviews. Grr.

The Natasha Denona Concealer is fire 🔥. I bought the product not from Sephora but from Ulta. I have deep under eyes ,dark circles you name it I always look tire and this is the only concealer that blew my mind and covered everything. The best in the market and trust me I bought them all.

The Huda lip and cheek blush and the Nars liquid one look so similar, both sheer liquid blushes. Which one did you find better if you were to just get one? Nars is more expensive so wondering if it's worth the extra cost, as that purple shade looks pretty unique, not much purple blushes outside kbeauty

Huda’s is a stain and it’s pretty pigmented, I personally wouldn’t use it as a blush. The nars one is sheer and dewy, so to me it’s very different.

I had the Catrice face pallette a while ago and for some reason, the pwdrs became de-pigmented, kind of a grainy feeling. I tossed it away!

That’s also far is now with all the review so I always have to filter it so that it so it shows the non-incentivize ones which shouldn’t be an option because I shouldn’t be that many incentivize reviews on their website

I filter the review to take out the incentive people. I really like the Natasha Denona concealer myself.

Really..?? 🤔 The Loreal primer for redness works wonders on my skin (medium skin tone, combo) and it really works for reducing my redness... And the Hayley's one as well. The skin world is very interesting..!😊

It gave me a really unflattering pale green cast unfortunately and the Haley’s was just not right for my acne-prone skin.

So before I joined Influenster which sends you products for review, I would have thought the same thing about incentivized. The term is misleading in my opinion because there is no incentive or obligation for giving a positive review. You are not paid or rewarded after the fact. You get the product FIRST then write an honest review. At least I do! I’ve written probably more negative reviews than positive ones.
