I remember seeing her live in London back in the 90s when Stones in the Road had just come out. She came out doing an acapella version of Why Walk When You Can Fly, what a powerful opening. It just went up from there! What a night. She stole my heart that night - that’s a lie, I gave it willingly and still do. Smart, beautiful and so very talented.
