this was my husbands favorite peace that I played on the organ for him ...in his dying days here, it was calming for him, he even tried to sing with it too. He even smiled a little when i played it too...Today is the first day i've been able to listen to this hymn since he died last May (a little over a year now). (I used to be a church organist too).

In August 2019 , I came home to the Church. I hadn't been in years . After I went to confession, the priest said to me "Welcome, Home" and I know it was Jesus welcoming me. So this song has a strong meaning for me. Thank you, Jesus.

Been singing this song in church since ever but only now did the message resonated for real. I just realized it is not about going to church, doing church rituals then going out with still the 'me, me, I, I' mentality...my loss, my sadness, etc. Today I just realized as a regular church goer that 'come back to me' truly means I must 'bend to others call' no matter what sadness, sorrow or issues I may be going through personally. Thst I must reach out to others in need. And that I must conduct my daily life choosing to treat others with 'integrity and justice with tenderness' no matter what. That is the challenge I failed to do or feared to do.

'HOSEA: COME BACK TO ME " Best Song Ever " ........... I remember this when I hear this song I thought of Hosea story when He wants Gomer to go back Home with Him to Israel .............. Hosea is the " PROPHET OF GOD'S LOVE" Jesus loves us so we must come back to Him for He is waiting for us to return ( Hosea is the example at the old testament ) but at the new testament our Savior , redeemer , Messiah Jesus Christ is the Most important example so when we hear this we will remember Hosea ( old testament) Jesus ( New testament ) .
