As a native of northern Virginia, I’d argue that as cool as Alexandria is, it’s more like a city than a small town since it’s right across the river from DC. You should try traveling further west or south into Virginia too sometime. The rest of Virginia is very different from northern Virginia.

You should go to Maho Beach in Saint Martin it’s famous for having massive planes take off and land right above you extremely close .
