To anyone who is nervous about their Glen Burnie driving test: I was too. It took me 2 tries, but I did it. I got my license. Most of my friends got their licenses on the first try, which made me feel like a loser...but you know what? That only made the moment I got my license even more special. So take a deep breath, watch these videos, get a good night's sleep, and when you take the test, show those irritating MVA workers what you can do! (P.S. If the publisher of this video works at the MVA, I'm not calling you irritating. Please don't take my license...sir.)

Well today I took my road test and failed..I gotta admit that I was really nervous on my first day..then it seem like when I failed my body started to relax lol..but the next text I know what to look for so it s gonna be alil better..

My how things have changed since I got my license in 1989. My driving test on was at the Glen Burnie MVA. We did not go out onto the road.

Yeah, the road course has definitely made it harder. Some locations have a fail rate greater than 50%.

Lol they must be watching youtube as well as us. And I don't know the name of the streets but I made a right turn on the street where the Honey Bee Dinner is I believe ( where the HESS gas station is.. and then went along the street where houses was and then once I got to the top of the street it was a stop sign and made another right and then after that your going the back rode back to MVA so you'll be turning where the Walgreen is and taco bell. I hope you understand where I'm trying to get lol.

Good luck. Try to practice the 2 point turn in a parking lot before the test.

Sorry, I don't have the Waldorf route. I will film it if anyone provides it. I would suggest going to Waldorf MVA and driving around the area. Pay attention to the speed limit signs, turn lanes, etc.

I'm not sure. Either drive the route ahead of time or go to google street view and find the speed limit signs.

+Matthew Harmeyer Speed Limit is the main one. Be ready for anything (no u turn, left turn only, yield, etc.). Practice the routes ahead of time and you should be good with the signs.

My wife was taking the test today in Glen Burnie and we got there early to do a dry run of the routes. We are on the 1st route and a KIA pulled out on the right and cut off my wife. The Kia continued to the left lane and hit a fast moving car. The drivers in Glen Burnie are aggressive. It unnerved us and ruined the practice. We won't take the test there again.

+Jack Dodson You're welcome. Don't worry, it's pretty common to fail the test at least once. At least you don't have to parallel park anymore :). Good luck with the retake. BTW, a hint about scheduling the retake - you can refresh the MVA site hourly since spots open up due to cancellations. Also, be open to other locations in the area. I would recommend Frederick, Westminster or Hagerstown for less congested locations - see my other videos for reference.

I had the same thing happen to me but I just found out nearing the end of my 2nd term of 9months that if you previously did 9 months without any tickets or anything you don’t have to redo the 9 months just do your driving school time. Hope this helps anyone else that may see this
