I worked for a trash company before and same thing happened. They were more concerned with getting the work done instead of the workers safety and health. Then the company wanted me to not talk to any lawyers or press about it as if they were covering it up so I left the company. Didn't sit right with me morally.

Rip to him....this is sad af, but this is why that, in extreme heat, i dont overwork myself, and if im feeling too hot and the heat is getting to me, my body definitely lets me know about it, and i listen to it, too. Rest in some shade, get some cold water, rest a bit more, and you are good to go. Sometimes splashing cold water on you helps....

Right.. if you work an outdoor labor job bring a large cooler of ice water every day.... I used to bring a 2.5 gallon igloo jug in case coworkers didn't bring anything or they sent us temp guys with nothing....

Your body is heating from the core not your skin. It’s smarter to quickly drink a cold water than drench yourself. Only bc I lived in Florida do I know this lol.
