The hunter gets my blood pumping everytime lol, and especially on Hard difficulty. My wife and I beat it on Medium so we started a new game on Hard, shew lol 😆

Alyssa survived thanks to the Marker creating a barrier that reprll3d Necromorphs. She sacrificed herself yo launch a beacon message to stay away. Isaac and his crew missed it on the way.

I played on hard and the ripper/flamethrower combo was great. 1 ripper blade can do a lot of damage to most enemies. Good strategy was to take off the legs and set them on fire. Flamethrower also great for small enemies. I used the plasma cutter and pulse rifle for ranged accuracy.

To avoid ammo problems just use only one weapon. Sell/put in storage all other weapons. If you using only one weapon, monsters and random boxes will drop only ammo you need. (sorry for my english)

I remember running into the Hunter during my First Playthrough. Scared the absolute crud out of me in the Original. Scared me in the Remake as well. Congrats to EA for bringing this Masterpiece back.

The ripper is the best gun to use. It also shoots blades you don't have to get right up on an alien to use it.

I am still relatively early on in the game (3/4 through medical), but it's like seeing a beloved friend you haven't seen in years that is having an amazing life, and they love you just as much as you love them. Marz, you have to remove weapons from your inventory, otherwise you won't get enoug ammo for any of them.

Using kinesis on arm blades and environmental geometry to save ammo is also something she still needs to learn as well.

The thing I noticed from Chapter 5 is in most cases you don't need to actually fight, you can just run through multiple areas to lose the monsters. Helps save you from buying ammo.

The asteroid part here in this remake is much better solved than in the original one. It looks easier to do it. A big thanks to the developers in this case.

You're pretty good at using secondary attacks with primary weapons. It isn't everyone's first instinct but it makes combat so much easier. Also get comfortable with the grosser enemies they only get juicier

Like Resident Evil 4, Dead Space drops items semi-randomly. Some items you find in the environment are set-in-stone, while items from lockers, crates and item boxes are almost all completely randomized. You’re mostly only getting ammo for weapons you currently have equipped, and there’s a good reason for that. The same trick can be used to stock up on health items - if you aren’t carrying health items, the game is much more likely to spawn one from a downed enemy or in a locker. Why does all this matter? Because on Hard Difficulty and beyond, you could save up points and stick to the all-powerful Plasma Cutter, buying nodes with your extra cash to deal maximum damage on enemies. just a tip. Great gameplay 👍

Want to mention that in part 9:41 they mention in one of the security logs and one log on the bridge before you go outside to the asteroid field, it mentions Vincent´s security team and you can see how all of them died in the animated movie Dead Space: Downfall, and i do like that they are included in the remake would have been nice to see Vincent's final recording but it is what it is

Dear Marz! I love how you play horror games especially with dead space! This is my favourite horror game ever! I haven't played it yet, but I'm at the end and I have a tip to you. Keep only the weapons you want to use! Put the weapon you think is unnecessary in the store and the game only rolls the ammo you have! Thanks for playing through! You only need four weapons at one time. Sell the weapons you don’t use or put them in storage. Otherwise you’re getting ammo for guns you don’t use Also don’t forget your weapons have secondary attacks that you’re hardly using

I finished the game yesterday and I started New game plus last night. It was my first time playing Dead Space :-) I played on Story/Beginner difficulty. And this time around i chose Medium. This time i noticed how bad the Pulse Rifle is, and it's fully upgraded too. 😂 Having a blast :)

I'm also doing NG+ now, on hard bc medium is just too easy with lvl 6 suit and max upgraded weapons. I'm doing contact beam(and force gun for the little guys) only and it's melting everything so fast even on hard. Love this weapon now! 😊 and I was always a plasma-cutter-only guy, but this is so much fun!!

you are getting ammo for those weapons cause you have them in your inventory. if you only had the plasma cutter in your inventory for example you would only get ammo for it and nothing else. very few exceptions in some areas where the ammo is scripted

It cringes me so much that she doesn't look behind herself and check all the doors. She passed the the door near cryogenic. Before she missed loot after second brute fight with electric cables. She also missed the secret of the body in the window where you cannuse kinesis move the boxes to reveal a blue wire door you can open. It's sad she needs ammo but misses loot. She even didnt she crawlee rifht next to her durinads canons 😅the tentacles were right in isaaca face too

Friendly Note: Actually, there is an infinite credit trick in Dead Space Remake. After you find Pulse Rifle in Chapter 1, you put into the rifle nodes minimum 4 or maximum 7 in order to activate an alternative fire section. Then, close the bench, and hit R1 instead of R2 to shoot in the Pulse Rifle. It will drop 25 bullets each time when you do it. You can pick it up by hitting R1 again to reclaim the ammo into your inventory. (You can do this trick as much as you want. It will earn you credits to sell and help you to buy med packs and other weapons ammunition from the storage. This trick only works in the Pulse Rifle) This trick works all difficulty levels.
