Translated the lyrics of Princess Mononoke into English. In the moonlight I felt your heart quiver like a bow-string's pulse In the moon's pale light you looked at me Nobody knows your heart. When the sun is gone I see you beautiful and haunting, but cold Like the blade of a knife so sharp, so sweet Nobody knows your heart All of your sorrow, grief and pain locked away in the forests of the night Your secret heart belongs to the world of the things that sigh in the dark, of the things that cry in the dark These songs are very difficult to interpret when translating into English.
Oh wow, this is actually first time you guys reacting to this video. I was like maybe 10 or 13 years old when KZbin even existed and this video was in the recommendation. I'll never forget that year.

Brilliant choice for reaction !! Princess Mononoke is one of my favorite movie always.
Though its remembered as one of the worst Studio Ghibli movies (which still means that it is one of the more beautiful films in the world) I love Tales from Earthsea. Years later I read the books it was based on, and was surprised that amongst other differences from the film, Therru could not sing in the book. Her face wasn't the only thing burned...her right hand is completely disfigured, and her lungs are so weak that speaking is difficult. Therru is one of the most heartbreaking characters I've ever read about.
