I totally agree with you Cansu.. The OG version of this song was absolute masterpiece and as you asked the movie is good. You can watch it for sure. Its the story of Roshan(Abhishek Bacchan) ho comes from abroad to his hometown to fulfill his mother's last wish. The movie is filled with great emotions. Music in this movie is good. The reaction was so good!! I really liked all the moments.

It gives feel of Humma song because of the Room setup and secondly the beginning beat of the song is also copied from the remake of Urvashi song and this song was supposed to be in the movie Marjaavan but there were already to many songs in the movie so they removed it from movie and you can also see Tara is not lip syncing the lyrics as she is mute in the movie

The reason you're finding similarities with the Humma song is because in the case of the Humma song, the remake too was made by A R Rahman. So it still kind of had the essence of the original song because he knew what he was doing. So what I feel is that the composers of that song decided to use the exact same formula to write this song and this is what happened.
