INGREDIENTS:
For Masala:
* Oil (तेल) - 1 tsp
* Cinnamon stick (दालचीनी) - 1 small stick
* Bay leaf (तेज पत्ता) - 1
* Black pepper seeds (काली मिर्च) - 2-3
* Clove (लौंग) - 7-8
* Green cardamom (हरी इलायची) - 2
* Cumin seeds (जीरा) - 1/2 tsp
* Garlic (लहसुन) - 5-7
* Onion (प्याज) - 2
* Ginger (अदरक)
* Green chili ( हरी मिर्च) - 2
* Tomato ( टमाटर) - 3-4
* Cashew nuts (काजू)
* Salt (नमक)
For Shahi Paneer:
* Oil (तेल) - 2 tbsp
* Kashmiri red chili powder (कश्मीरी लाल मिर्च पाउडर) - 1 tsp
* Turmeric powder (हल्दी पाउडर)
* Coriander powder (धनिया पाउडर) - 1 tsp
* Garam masala (गरम मसाला) 1/2 tsp
* Dried fenugreek leaves (कसूरी मेथी)
* Salt (नमक)
* Sugar (चीनी) - 1/2 tsp
* Cottage cheese (पनीर)
* Fresh malai (ताजा मलाई)
* Coriander leaves (धनिया पत्ती)
RECIPE:
Take some Cottage Cheese, cut it in cubes & fry them. Put the fried Cottage Cheese in hot milk & keep it aside.
In a pan, put Oil, Cinnamon, Bay Leaf, Cloves, Black Pepper, Cardamom, Cumin Seeds & roast them. Turn the flame slow, put Garlic, Ginger, Green Chilies, Onion, Tomatoes, Cashew Nuts & Salt. Cook them on a medium flame for 5-7 mins by covering them. Then keep them for cooling down & grind them all & sieve the ground paste.
Take a pan, put Oil, Kashmiri Red Chili Powder, Turmeric Powder, Coriander Powder, Cumin Powder, Garam Masala, Dried Fenugreek Leaves & ground paste in it. Put some Salt & Sugar & cook them. Then put the Cottage Cheese Cubes in it & cook them all on a slow flame for 2-3 mins. Garnish the Delicious Shahi Paneer with Cream & Coriander Leaves & serve it.

Aunty what is the main difference between ur Butter Paneer Masala & Shahi paneer dish? Because the masala & gravy remains the same, except for the fact that you have added cream in Butter Paneer Masala & in Shahi paneer u had sautéed the paneer in first step & added in milk, which was used like a cream in later stage. So is there any major difference between these 2 dishes?

Shahi paneer is classic But butter paneer masala is different because of variations
