An impressive class indeed! How complicated Japanese is! Looks as if English was easier! Being an occasional visitor of her ENGLISH lesson, but I really enjoyed this class, too, or even more! Very practical & well explained. She knows a thing or two in giving a lesson. Informative & enjoyable at the same time. This is singularly Masa sensei's prowess! No need to spot where's the secret, but simply follow the lecture. Repeat it if possible.

Hello Masa Sensei: it would be of great help a video dedicated to conditional clauses comparing real, possible and irreal sentences like the model: if I have time I will go; if I had time I would go; if I had had time I would have gone. No one seems to explain!! Thank you so much!!!
@MasaSensei Жыл бұрын
I think the reason why no one covers is because Japanese has so many variety of expressions. For example, a sentence like "If I had a lot of money, I would buy an island", we have many ways to say and the nuance is slightly different for each expression. ・たくさんお金があったら、島を買うんだけどな ・たくさんお金があったら、島を買っているよ。 ・たくさんお金があったら、島を買えるだろうけど。 ・たくさんお金があったら、島を買っただろうに。 ・たくさんお金があれば、島を買うのだが。 ・たくさんお金があれば、島を買っているのだが

Dear her followers & new visitors, A couple of days ago, I posted comments. You know what? Masa sensei took a notice of them & replied! So, what, you may say, but the video was originally posted 5 years ago! Besides, she's been incessantly producing new ones. Despite that, she makes it a rule to pay attention to viewers' comments! So, your take of her lesson: she's always with you! THE best encouragement! Nowhere else! Just follow her! PS. Who's the author of a lovely cartoon of maestra wearing glasses?

Sensei samuku narimasu? Or samuku ni narimasu. Plz explain 🙏
@rytacomoto7394 жыл бұрын
samuku narimasu. samui -> samuku is an adverb, therefore you don't need "ni". However, if you have a noun before an adverb then you use "ni". for example: okanemochi ni narimasu (to become rich)

@@harshii2002 the i - ajectives before naru drop the -i and you put ku after, like samui -> samuku , nemui -> nemuku. samuku naru = to become cold. nemuku naru = to become sleepy. -na adjectives and nouns you add ni + naru . kantan (na ) -> kantanni naru.to become easy . yuumeni (na) -> yuumeini naru . to become famous. and for noun, sensei ni naru = to become sensei, isha ni naru = to become doctor. generally the na adjectives are going together with nouns when it comes to conjugation. also this is how you convert an adjective into adverb . I hope it helped you
いつもありがとうございます! 「ば」か「なら」の後に過去形が来るときは、①後悔(こうかい Regret)の意味になります。最後に「~のに」を付けます。 昨日、お金があれば、あの時計(とけい)を買えたのに If I had money, I could have bought that watch そして、「ば」のあとに過去形が来ると、②過去の習慣(しゅうかん Habit)の意味もあります。 子供の時、暇があれば、ゲームをしていました。 When I was a kid, I would play video game when I have time.

Can you explain Masa sensei about the note "cannot be used if it something negative" for ba form. Your previous lesson, you make the s2 negative.
@jaycee3303 жыл бұрын
If the S1 subject and S2 subjects are the same, then you cannot use the "ba" form, but you can still use the "tara" form.
@jaycee3303 жыл бұрын
I don't know which lesson you are refering to, I'm guessing it's the "must" form "nakereba, ikenai" (If you don't do X, it is not good). But here, the subjects are not the same. S1 is "you" as the subject, and S2 is whatever the result of the action of the verb would be.
@jaycee3303 жыл бұрын
I think I found the example you were talking about "If the weather is not good, I won't go to the park." Again, the subjects are different (weather/I)
