Same for me bro. They came on the scene back when I was a DJ in 1986-88 time frame I believe. Can't imagine how many mixes I did with their album. Good times & mems...

Bruh I'm really about to invest in a MK3 I'm digging the interface and it appears to have a nice learning curve with ease of use I'm currently using FL studio and Serato studio which are great pieces of software but that maschine mk3 looks like a ONE STOP SHOP

can you explain what you doing after you say you're going into the extended lock (11:40). I thought you were overwriting the pads with new sounds from the mix.....
@KnockSquared6 жыл бұрын
maschine has a feature where you can take "snapshots" or "Lock" in certain parameters/mutes etc to a pad. so lets say i got kick and snare playing... I Lock that to a pad and then I may hve bass and keys by them self... I then lock those to a pad...and so on. so lets say I do that on each of the 16 pads now when I go back and hit pad it will play whatever I locked so its good for quickly getting ideas

What camera are you using and what program you using to record 2 screens I have a Mac
@KnockSquared7 жыл бұрын
I am on windows...but when I was on mac I used "Screenflow" which is the best screen recording software for mac. I record myself with the Logitech C920 webcam - I record the actual maschine with my ipad mini 2. I Start recording on screenflow (which records the screen and also the webcam) and I start recording on the ipad. After I am done recording I then take the ipad video and load that into Screenflow. So now you have 3 elements inside screenflows editor - The screen recording - The webcam recording-and the ipad recording. I think resize the webcam vid and ipad vid to make the boxes smaller.

Can you explain the 16 lock process?
@KnockSquared6 жыл бұрын
sorry I am late on this and you probably already figured it out...but if not..its bascially maschine has a feature where you can take "snapshots" or "Lock" in certain parameters/mutes etc to a pad. so lets say i got kick and snare playing... I Lock that to a pad and then I may hve bass and keys by them self... I then lock those to a pad...and so on. so lets say I do that on each of the 16 pads now when I go back and hit pad it will play whatever I locked so its good for quickly getting ideas
