In this video I show you how to get started with the new Native Instruments Maschine+ (Maschine Plus). I demo how to setup your Maschine+ once you have unboxed it, registering it, setting up WIFI, and downloading expansions. Then I show you step by step, how to create a beat on the Maschine Plus, using one of the included kits - downloadable expansions. I show you how to browse kits, load them, and then play and record a beat. I’ll also show you how to layer drum sounds and samples into your beat. You’ll learn how to set the tempo, create a pattern, and more. I also cover how to use the Native Instruments plugin instruments right inside of Maschine+. Next, I’ll show you how to record external sounds, samples, instruments. Finally, I’ll show you how to use the ultra-cool FX feature on your Maschine +.

I'm trying to use my midi keyboard to control the Maschine sounds. When I hook it up only the pad with the sound on it is triggered. The other keys do not play. On Maschine I can press keyboard and play with pads but only one note is responding from my keyboard. Do I need a Native Instruments keyboard?

Great tutorial! Two questions...did your maschine plus come with a user manual? Mine did not so thank God for tutorials like this! Second question, how do you extend sample time onto a single pad? Every time I sample it cuts off at 2 seconds. I want a long continuous sample on a single pad rather than cut into 2 second increments on multiple pads. I hope this makes sense. Thank you in advance.

Just want to make sure I don’t use my two vouchers to buy expansions that won’t work. I bought this unit to use in standalone only and I’ve heard that not all expansions will work this way. Hi Sanjay! Do you know how to certain files that are in the file menu on the Maschine MK3? I can’t seem to get unwanted files out of that menu. I think they are deleted because when I load them it says error but the file itself still shows up in the file list and it’s BUGGING me. Do you know how to get rid of them? hello , I bought the NI Maschine Plus B-Stock by Thomann, I initially spoke to them due to the license issue, they informed me that it had already been reset and that there would be no problems, I actually managed to register the NI Maschine Plus by Native ID app on the computer inserting the Serial that comes on the Hardwere and everything went correctly the problem is with the fact that after connecting the Maschine via Wi-Fi it doesn't give me the option to connect to My Native id or give any Qr code, in short I go to the library and I want to import my expansions but it doesn't give me this option the ones that appear are the ones that come with the Plus, how do I connect the NI plus to native id to be able to have direct access? Great video. Just got Maschine + as a Xmas gift. I am new to it and an avid producer on Logic Pro X as my DAW. However, I cannot get to install Maschine in my DAW so I can use it as MIDI with the included presets in my projects. Is Maschine + designed only for Standalone

You can use the Maschine software on your computer - both standalone or as a plugin. I've done it. Make sure you download Native Access from Native Instruments and install the Maschine software on your computer.

Just recieved my maschine+ like 10 minutes ago, wont connect to wifi through all recommended ways (mobile hotspot, my own wifi, xfinity's open access wifi, usb ethernet, my girls phone as a mobile hotspot, and an old school antenna) Nothing works. Support is closed right now but i assume ill have to ship this thing back to get another one. All other NI products have you connect to computer, Native access, register, done. So this is like the ultimate fail for a new product. Yes, some stuff is defective but im curious why they went with wifi to set up and not the setup of all their other products.

Hi everyone! New Maschine+ User here. My DAW is Ableton Live 10. I have a question about Midi Out from my Maschine. I want to trigger my external Synths via Midi but I have no Midi Out Signal. I am no newbie when it comes to Synths, I have lots of external Hardware. When I connect my Hydrasynth via USB Midi it is listed in the Midi Out Settings in my Maschine+ but when I enable it I don't get a signal when I trigger my Maschine Pads. With Midi it is the same,no signal. I think it must be something in the settings I did wrong. Can anybody help me?
