Positive feedback is well deserved, awesome maschine! One question/request to fix though. When I recorded external synth in stand-alone and opened same project in desktop mode (without even copy) it was having issue finding recordings. And the other way around. I opened M+ project (directly while in USB mode) or add a so able to a kick to continue stand-alone. The path to sample were referenced with absolute path, including C: and D:. So M+ error out. Having relative to project path (like ../ or keeping sound recording encapsulated into project would be nice). I tried making own user groups on M+ and desktop, but stuck on the same fundamental issue. Playing stand-alone an/or switching to usb mode for beautifying project of capture extra samples or VST sound is very cool to have flawless. Including only NI instruments and groups works flawless across stand-alone and plugged in mode. Love that! Thanks.

Any possibility of getting an update to where the MK3 can have the same function on renaming groups like in the standalone, I want to use the mk3 without having to look at my computer as much as possible since I cannot afford the standalone. trust me when I say I'm a dedicated maschine user but Ive bought every unit y'all dropped since the first and I want to utilize the MK3 while I'm out I don't mind carrying my laptop just because I have access to all my plugins but the little things that the standalone should have been in the MK3 I don't understand why we have to ask or wait, Im never chosen to review a unit and I think I do a better job then most considering I'm the one to make to the reviewer answer the really important questions about your products since no one does it in comments or live chat, we just need native instruments to listen to the right people about the stuff the regular producers do and need.

What is the time limit for recording? Can I record 10 minute of guitar? Can I record 30’minites? Can I record 60 minutes? No looping just continuous recording?

As far as I know, the only limit is the size of your SD card.

I can't figure out how to load "older" projects in stand alone mode. Would be amazing if you guys can help me out I can't get my head around how I can acess them. I can load recent projects but with every project I save the one at the bottom of the list disappears and is nowhere to be found again :/ (Well thats not entirely true I can find them on the SD card if i put it in my computer but I really would love to be able to acess them in stand alone mode too.

Hi, I work with patterns on my Maschine Studio / Logic and use the arrange function in the Maschine plugin to organise patterns to match the arrangement in LPX.. I now need to take the band on the road next Summer and want a standalone Drum Machine / Sequencer ratter than backing tracks. That way I can sequence lighting too. Can M+ store multiple songs (projects) for a gig, say 25. Or have I got to load between songs?

Boris: you have always great videos and you have very good skills. I'm a Fan of NI, however I don't know why Ni is coming with the idea to release Maschine as a standalone but without a Touchscreen, without a native integration in Ableton Live through Link, no Battery, limited Space and no extension through SSD. So just tell me why someone should buy this Version of Maschine+? we hope to see a MK2 Version soon with all features mentioned above. The most important Question is: why should Users of a MK3 and who have already a Komplete 9-12 License on their computer pay the same Price like the new Users? I think in my Opinion, NI should develop a Kind of Membership or sell the Maschine+ for less, for who own already the Software Licenses! Paying 1.299€ and also paying a License of Komplete 12 is really a lot of Money! I hope someone from the Management read this and could find a way to make Maschine MK3 and Komplete Users more happy!

@@nic3939 I have mk3 and I've been thinking to update to + because I like to not being tethered to computer and being able to plug midi keyboard directly into maschine. I could thru in a power bank now it's portable. Only problem is arranging is not convince on the device. A touch screen would've helped immensely.

@@MS7.7 This I can understand! And yes, you are totally right. The arranging is slow on the device, but it works. I've owned the + since it came out. I would say if this is what you really want - with not being tethered, go for it. But make sure that's what you really, really want! Myself I had the same vision, having maschine unplugged and portable - but I ended up using my M+ mostly in controller mode anyways.

Any way to set massives cpu usage straight on maschine plus? Do the cpu settings carry over from the software to m+? On a pc you can choose between low medium or high quality, would be nice to know what setting is used on m+

Unfortunately, there's no setting for Massive CPU usage on M+. It's completely independent and what you set on the software wouldn't carry on the standalone. We'll make a note about it to our teams🤞

Hi guys i am a solo guitar player and singer. I want to spice up my shows adding cool drum loops to launch on the fly with a midi foot controller (morningstar mc8). Can I save different loops in different pads or per group and recall them with the midi controller? And if the first loop is running and I pre select the second loop pressing one of my midi foot controller switches can I tell Maschine+ to let the second loop starts when the Loop 1 reaches the end of the measure?This way I can pre select loops with just a press of a switch letting the loop automatically starts in time. Is it possible? Thanks.

I use maschine 2.8 more for Indian Rhythm where musicians play along with Indian loop pattern off the Maschine and Tempo and meters are changing with the time on the same pad. Quite often pieces are changing meter going from 4/4 to 6/8 to 3/8 etc. How do I trigger new patterns or scenes with different meters? Could you please advice me on it ? I really Appreciate your help on this

I don't think so, as far as I know companies have to pay to use the mp3 encoding to the owner of the patent.

Hold Shift and press group B and you will get to page two

Yeah I use it to record external gear like synths a lot. You can have 10+ synth tracks too. At one point you might be pushing the CPU but I think it can probably handle 10 audio tracks

@@NativeInstruments Any news is welcome so thanks. A few hardcore believers still left and wait for the good news, especially after the selling of the division. You read all the requests and tips everywhere in forums how to get back into business and expand and re-engage users, and I believe you even know about the pro users who contribute huge for the community and for NI itself with the developments and hacks which should have been part of the controllers and the software natively. They should be respected and involved the most. Proper hardware is cool and super welcome but the clear vision and improvements also have to be constanty presented, only then people will believe the project is not being abandoned so they can invest in the ecosystem.

You did not answer your own question....but it looks like 80-90% cpu is used with just 6 maschine instances playing 4 notes at the same time. Hmmm not really good, plus no battery system. I mean come on! I want to play in the woods. On the moutain or by a lake. Without a laptop. Maschine + in my opinion: disappointing.

Agree - new music gear should either have a battery or be compatible with battery banks..! And it would be awesome if they had the option to install VSTs, because i really dont like being limited to a small selection of effects. Think i gotta get a laptop that i can use with the Akai "MPD 218" and maybe the Novation "Launch Control XL".
