This was really great for getting me started, thanks! I was hoping that there would've been a second part to also explain scenes, banks and song construction as thinking of music as a timeline is the natural next step. But after this video I'm already very relieved to find the workflow on this to be very natural and intuitive, so I'm glad I trusted what I'd read about that online! Before actually having the device, videos seemed quite overwhelming and I feared that this might take a long time to learn, but turns out that you actually get to the fun very effortlessly.

Can we back all the library we downloaded to a pc so that way we can exchange back and forth? Lastly, can people make their own libraries and give them out to sell or share OR do we have to always purchase them from native instruments? Any info helps

yo Ave, can it use with DAW? Or cannot because it is use for stand alone purposes?
@NGC19863 жыл бұрын
Yes you can use with a DAW too for sure. There is a cable that comes with it that allows you to plug right in your computer. You can use the maschine software or any daw. Typically people like to use maschine as a plugin within their DAW which allows you to kinda get best of both worlds in keeping the simplicity of the maschine workflow while also having the flexibility working in a true daw provides

@AveMcree4 жыл бұрын
no
@alexmax98324 жыл бұрын
no problem with cpu and ram ;-)
@NGC19863 жыл бұрын
You can't upgrade the ram but you can upgrade the SD card which helps performance quite a bit as well as increases internal storage. You can also connect a thumb drive for storage too. Ive had it for a few months and have had no issues with the CPU even when using several samples or duplicating full songs while sampling etc. I'm not a heavy synth user, but I do like to get some good effects chains going. Even when the CPU goes pretty high, I don't notice anything in the actual performance of the unit itself. It can get up to like 80 percent CPU before you start noticing anything, which I only hit when I was really tryna push the limits.
