Maserati service reset - OBDSTAR X200 PRO - Ghibli, Quattraporte, Granturismo, Levante

Just received my X200 Pro to reset my 2016 Maserati GTS. Unit was spot on in resetting the oil service wrench indicator. I travel a lot so not many miles placed on the car and the oil can not be degraded as the dealer clams. This unit will save me a ton of money over the years. Found it on line for $169.00 not much more than a oil change at my independent dealer. And great video thanks.

Thanks for this video. I just bought a 2017 Maserati Ghibli. They changed the oil when I bought the car (Buick dealer) and after 300 miles this light came on. Now that you showed me how to do this, I ordered the OBDSTAR X200 Pro and I can do this my self. Thanks once again!

I am glad the video helped, the OBDSTAR is a great, easy to use tool! Congrats on the Ghibli purchase! Definitely one of my favorite cars I have owned, feel free to reach out with any questions you come across at all! Have you learned how to start it in sport mode yet? The exhaust in sport mode on a cold start is amazing but there is a certain sequence you have to go through to make it happen.

@@automotiveserviceresetproc4431 I have seen videos on KZbin that the 2017 Ghibli can not be started in sport mode. I have one other problem. I can not turn the radio off. I can push the center knob, but it does not turn off. I have been using the mute button on the back side of the steering wheel. Any ideas?

@@dennisedwards1944 Unfortunatly I don't believe you can actually shut it off. Some Mercedes vehicles are designed like this also. I think it is because the U-connect system runs so much more than just the stereo. Your only options are turning the volume down, muting it or changing the source.

Can you reset radio lock. With obd without starting the car. Cause obviously I can't start it. I changed batteries and now I'm stuck.

Hi, will the OBDSTAR x200 Pro turn off the service spanner light on my 2016 Ghibli diesel? Have just had it services by independent engineer in UK, all lights reset except the spanner. Can you help?

I just put new tires on my quattroporte and my driver tire sensor came on and won't go off. How do i reset it?

You would need a scan tool to really determine what the problem is or to relearn the sensors. I would check with your tire shop to see if they maybe have a TPMS tool that can scan and relearn.

Does it work for a Maserati Ghibli Diesel ? Seems that you can only choose gasoline version.

I would think it should work with the Diesel also but I cannot confirm, perhaps someone else on here can chime in?

Does the car have to be completely running engine on? .... and does the unit have batteries or does it grab power from the car? Thanks

The vehicle should be in the on position without the vehicle running. The unit pulls power from the port itself.

it does not reset the oil viscosity counter or oil service required message, a £10 diagnostic tool can do a service mileage and days reset
