How do you manipulate the digging rupees? I never know how to manipulate that?

Easiest method is to do a hard reset (not A+B+start+select but actually turning the console off and on again). Then you need to mash through the title screen as fast as possible (RNG rolls every frame on the title screen but stops rolling when you reach the file select screen) Once you enter the game again, you need to do 7 screen transitions and then just keep digging until you get it. If done right, you'll see a rope pop up just before digging the rupee. One thing to note is that you want to do this in a place where there's no enemies on screen to avoid rolling the RNG too much
