The Mullah regime in Iran has successfully penetrated major academic and media institutions in Western Europe and U.S. with their Palestinian and other Arab activist allies who highjacked every movement where they scream Islamophobia if any issue of human rights abuses are raised that can’t be blamed on America or Europe as a distraction. No one from feminist organizations is even outraged that Iran and other repressive regimes serve on international U.N. bodies where issues of women’s rights are monitored. A dude had commented "why is this an American issue?". I typed my reply but he deleted his comment. So to all the people who are wondering why this is an American/western issue: It is an American issue cuz Iranians are fighting to topple the Islamic Republic. An Islamic Republic in Iran means more support to terrorist groups in Middle East and that means more Amrican soldiers would die and suffer in ME if such a regime continue to exist. An Islamic Republic means more support to Russia against Ukraine. An Islamic Republic means 80 milion Iranians, 40m Iraqis, 40m Afghans, 15m Syrians, 30m Yemenis and more people in the ME suffer cuz the regine wants to expand its Shiite Empire. Caring about these things is not only an Amercian issue but a world issue unless you argue you do not care about human values.

And watch from afar as their relatives perpetuate a Stone Age culture and religion centric society. You get the country you tolerate. And if you aren’t willing to fight and die, then Iran is doomed to be left to the local idiots who have no real problems with how society is run there. As someone who has been active in Democratic Party politics my entire adult life, I can answer that question quite easily. Too many Democrats and left wingers in general - particularly of the younger generations - simply have a problem with the concept that you can be nonwhite and/or non Christian and have regressive views. And that unfortunately in many if not most of these nations where Islam is the dominant religion, such views are the rule and not the exception.

This message is for Bill’s social media monitors. I have some constructive advice about tackling this problem of liberal objections toward criticizing Islam’s worst practices. He cares so very much about this issue and he is right to do so. But he is watering down his message by not getting a clear concise talking point that makes any thinking person say, “Ahha, I’ve never heard it put that way but Bill is right.” He had an opportunity to use that summarizing phrase here in this interview and he didn’t do it. But what is the magic phrase that is irrefutable?? Well he already uttered it on his episode of Jerry Seinfeld’s Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee. Here it is… These liberals are coming from an instinct to protect, which is correct. *However, they are so tolerant that they are tolerating intolerance from Islamic cultures.* He can say that phrase and then ask each and every guest (on that subject), “Do you agree?” If he is a broken record on this eventually the opposition won’t be able to sustain this contradiction in their own minds and the fever will break among the left. Eventually a NY Times OpEd will run which cites Bill’s position and use that exact line and then the masses of liberals will start to really shift in a big way. And the reason is that line is so bulletproof and short and catchy that it can’t help but convince others. Please please please I’m begging you to get him to adhere to message discipline and try to say that as often as possible and get Islamic guests and analysts ti repeat it. I’ve used that line with about 20 friends of mine from across the political spectrum and I could see it click with all but three of them. It’s like when a kid finally gets a math concept that she’s been struggling with for weeks. That line is powerful. Please use it often and in the exact same form each time. Bill likes to be able to explain things off the cuff it seems but this is the time for the opposite. The perfect canned line that’s unbeatable. Please make him use it. After all he invented it (as far as I can tell). Take it to the next level.

5:25 100%. Humans really need to drop the obsession with hyperbole. Not everything is a phobia. And frankly if people were as irrationally fearful as a the ubiquitousness of the term phobe would indicate, then the pandemic would never have occurred because everyone to be too afraid of others.
@tankie99972 жыл бұрын
'Islamophobia' is the biggest joke of all. If you read what the Quran says about Christians, jews and especially pagans, the idea of showing respect to Islam is ludicrous because it has no respect for other religions or cultures.
