And as she wore the mask, the monsters would recognize her as one of their own. "But at what cost", she thought. She wouldn't feel the pain for a while but something else was now with her, was waiting for her to put this false face on. Something darker, more dangerous yet more subtle. But at least the whispers would be silent for now as she walked in the darkness, waiting for a glimpse of light to appear again.

A very fitting title for this track. It's like coming home after a difficult day and taking off the mask you had to wear. You can let out all the strain that you felt and just collapse into your bed, and you don't have to wear a facade or put on a filter. You can just let go of your struggles

THE TRUE FACE BEHIND: A Resident Evil Story The woman in the red dress, Spy, Mercenary. All these names she has been known by but none know Adam Wong for who she really is... Her walls up and mask on, she does her job and does it well, however she is still human and wishes to be loved, held and seen for who she really is. She arrives in the door to her hotel room and shuts the door slowly. She gets undressed, showers and changes into something comfortable. She then lays on the bed where she stares at the emptiness where she wishes HE was. To comfort and tell her that everything is okay.... But she has played him and abused his trust too often, what's harder is that they are both on opposite sides of this battle... Is it a love not meant to be? She doesn't know... But curls up, her heart breaks... And she cries... She never wanted things to be this way but she is what she is, yet she hopes for a way out and a better life... An opportunity to start over... She closes her eyes and just before she drifts off to sleep, the phone rings... She turns to pick it up and sees a number on it and it's an initial. W. She answers "hello?" "Got a job for you... Meet in the coordinates I sent." The call ends. She looks at the phone to see the location. She gets changed once more and puts her game face back on and says "let's get to work..." She heads toward the door, opens it and leaves. Ada can make room for emotions at another time.... Sorry I've out of the loop. I've been busy with college and started a band, also I have a photo exhibition I started coming up, but I wanted to come back and write something for you here.

I love this one especially. It actually reminds me a bit of one of the old Halo soundtracks, I wanna say it was in the second game when you get on this underwater elevator, but I could be mistaken. But yeah, this hits a similar vibe, one that has kind of a feel of ominous wonder, and I've always loved that kind of tone. It kind of makes me think of how witnessing something unbelievable can kind of affect your perception on what could be real, for better and worse. I'm definitely writing to this later. (Also, wow that Ada pic... Legitimately very artistic, while also kind of hot, and all visually striking. I guess you could say it fits her character in that way. Either way, props to the artist there too.)

@@SurvivalSpheres About the Halo track, I sifted through some of the soundtracks over my morning coffee and am thinking I kind of meshed two unreleased tracks that play in certain levels in my memory. Halo CE The Lost Muse Halo 2 Trying Winds (particularly the first 2 minutes, before the choir begins) Listening to them again, I'm kind of in two lanes. On one hand, they're not as close as I was thinking; but on the other, I think the uniqueness of Mask, while still being so 'on vibe' to me, is why I want to place it in there so hard. Like, it's the theme for the Halo level I played in a dream, or for the section I feel like should've existed, but never did.

I am not sure where I first heard it but someone said that Ada was in a movie theater dressed in her classic red dress when she received the assignment of Albert weaker to go to the Spanish village leon goes to in RE4 That explains the red dress which isn't a suit for covert ops but I loved the idea as an opening for Ada Wong separate novel story sequel

Super tranquil but a very sorrowful and dire vibe too. Makes me think - Ada Wong, an incredible woman as skilled and strong as she is classy and gorgeous, is enveloped in a World which is full of despair and sinister plots. And although she doesn't show her emotions, she's still a flesh and blood Human at the end of the day; she feels just like anyone else, and bottling up feelings is like pissing into the wind. Sooner or later, that bottle's gonna break and the mask will come off, perhaps shattering her and reducing her to a similar level as the sicko corporation she works for, who's sole purpose is creating more and more destructive technology and vile bioweapons for money... Weird and wonderful how your music continues to conjure up such deep thoughts, whether they're based on reality or fiction 😉🙂
