Yes exciting progress. Just dropped the heads and engine block off yesterday to the machine shop and am planning on the next stage of getting paint on the doors and trunk lid for the 68 fastback, then will be the hood and fenders next. Hey Barry looking great! I was wondering why you went over it and hit it with the black spots over the car? Second question is would it be better to use glazing putty for the pin holes or does it really matter?

Thanks. I think I mentioned hitting the bare metal with self etch. Glazing puddy would work.

Whatever size your container is say 20 oz. 4:1:1 makes an equation 6x=20 so x = 20/6 x=3.33 That's your activator and reducer '1:1' just multiply by 4 for the primer part 13.3. We have calculators on our phones. So 13 1/3 oz primer then 3 1/3 oz activator & 3 1/3 oz reducer would exactly hit 20 oz.

Good question. I didn't keep track. it will depend on how thick you apply it though. As in, how many coats in an area.

It's the rear section of my garage. It is my home made paint booth. The main shop is 24X36. This is 14X24.

@@JoDaddysGarage Very impressive booth, Barry. Nice work as always. As I'm about to create a 'one car project only' temporary spray booth, I can't match it, but have a question. Some folks say only use 'brushless' motor fans and sealed light units for safety. I'm inclined to do as you have, but can you share your thinking on the matter?
