Mason Gillis was stymied by a relentless UConn defense in the national title gmae. Here is what he had to say in the locker room afterwards.

Personally, I'll never forget this BOILERMAKER era. I've seen every televised game for 2 years, except 2. And I'm not from Indiana. Mason, coming off the bench I appreciate your 3's - but mainly your hustle, defensive and rebounding. Gutsy and serious.

@@jasonnutt3175 Smith and Edey actually tried. The rest of the guys, not so much. If you're gonna lose, lose with dignity. Dont lose like a bunch of bitches.

Purdue is as NIT team without Edey.

What is the point of that statement? Every team would be different without their best player. The Bulls wouldn't have won 6 championships without Jordan. UCONN would be a different team if Dan Hurley wasn't their coach. My feet would hurt if I wore my shoes on the wrong feet. It's fascinating to me that some people will say Edey sucks, and then those very same people say Purdue wouldn't have even gotten to the tournament without Edey. You can't suck AND be the reason your team made it to the Championship game instead of missing the tournament.

Obviously you're just a troll. Why waste your time? But I'll entertain: It takes an entire ORGANIZATION to go as far as the D-1 NCAA Finals.

Gonna really miss him, I wish he would stay for his final year of eligibility. Don’t know why he’s leaving? But thankful for his work ethic and time with Purdue!
