For sure! It’s always helpful to hear some basic stuff instead of just shredding (plus I’m not much of a shredder). Glad the video helped you decide what to get and that you love the guitar! @@MasonMusicRocks Hard to find for sure! I started out looking for a PRS semi-hollow, but nothing available unless you want Santana yellow! I feel bad for the shops like yours and our local independents here. People have stimulus and income tax money to spend and you guys can't get any inventory to sell us. Maybe you can help me with a quick question - after a few days of playing, I had the shop I bought the Reverend from lower the action. I noticed it sounded a little different when I got it back, probably because the strings are closer to the pickups. Can you recommend a distance between the strings and pickups? I know how to measure and adjust - just not sure what would be a good setting for this guitar.

Locking tuners are great, but I always put Grovers on my guitars. Can’t beat them imo

I don't disagree with you - I feel like tuners are one of the most underrated parts of a guitar build.

Paul Trottier interesting- I hadn’t really thought about that until you pointed it out, but I see what you’re talking about. We’ve had a couple of these come through our shop and this one looks to be the lightest color- I just went back and looked at photos of the other one and it was a little bit darker for whatever reason.

Definitely. If they’re unable to use rosewood, I wish they’d given it an ebony board like on the Sensei RA.

Actually like the looks of this guitar but the sounds coming out of it are a bit uninspiring. Sounds somewhat blocky to me, with the highs rounded off and no sparkle. Maybe just not the right amp settings etc. Might try in a store to see if these thoughts are correct or look for other demos.

Thank you for the input! I've found that this model of Reverend can be a little blocky, but when it's coming through a tube amp gets the highs that you're describing.

Why would they not add a Tone and Volume control per pickup?? That's like 30% of the deal with this type of guitar.
