Mason is a matured solid football player who honed his craft behind one of the Steeler greats. His football IQ has been growing every season and I'm glad he still played for Pittsburgh when he showed some of what he's learned since 2019. It's Rudolph's time.

Sometimes it takes time to develop. Funny how the o line plays better and everything else falls into place. Harris using that big body instead of trying to jump over everyone helps too.

I really truly believe that the Pittsburgh Steelers have their next franchise quarterback. If they do not sign Mason Rudolph to a contract next year, it will be the biggest mistake the Steelers could make. Mason Rudolph is, well, let’s just say without him the Steelers are very mediocre and with him they are a great team. Mason Rudolph brings out the best in all the players around him. Not only is he a very solid number one quarterback, but he is a very good person, and he really deserves to be the number one quarterback for the Pittsburgh Steelers

Mason worked his ass off to get here. All the b.s. he put up with last few years, he improved his game, kept studying, never complained. Give this kid a shot at QB1. Otherwise he’ll be long gone to a smarter team.

Mason should have got the starting spot when Ben retired … idk what he did behind the scenes to get forgotten about but something happened someone important didn’t like him… if he started this season we would at least have e 10-11 wins… I do not believe in picket .. I don’t think he has the athletic ability to be a star… if mason wins against Baltimore and they get rid of mason next year and go with Kenny then I may not watch next year .. unless I am wrong about Kenny and he lights it up but I don’t think that will happen… they made a big mistake with mason now he’s 28 and out of his prime… I think you sign him to another year and make him compete with Kenny and draft another QB early if you have the chance at a good one

League is light on good QB's just look at the lower point totals. Rudolph doesn't seem welcome in Pittsburgh and prolly better to sign elsewhere

Rudolph has been completely mismanaged by Tomlin et al. He had no QB coach early in his career and no help from the clearly threatened and soon to be washed up #7. He gets to start on a team awash in injuries. Then goes back to the bench. Tomlin and Colbert bring in two journeymen ahead of him. Despite reports now leaking out that Rudolph won the last two training camps, he's buried on the depth chart. Tomlin clearly screwed this up. Remember Ben didn't become the QB we love until the Rooneys brought in Ken Anderson in 2007-9 to develop him. Tomlin's lost when it comes to QB talent and development.
