i feel like this is my one true comfort game. it has such a calming yet incredibly intriguing sense to it and feels like it has many deep meanings hidden inside that can be interpreted in your own way. not even to mention the music. i first found out about this on spotify and was so in love with the weird and calming yet oddly chaotic in a way song fittingly called "afterlife". after looking through the other songs and then looking at how they fit into the game, i can conclude that the music is so weird and cool and interesting yet entirely fits with the game in every way. im really surprised that this game isn't more popular, as this deserves all the love. i can't even begin to think how long this took to make with the stop motion animation and such. i wrote this 1:25 into the video and this is only my first time looking at the game. either i'm emotional or this game is one of the most underrated games of all time /srs

I kept seeing this in my recommended videos for a while and I had no idea what it was. "What is Hylics?" I asked myself. "What does it mean? Who is this fellow with a manta ray for a head and why is someone tugging on his fins?" I finally caved in and watched it, and I gotta say, Hylics and Hylics 2 are the most pleasantly strange games I've ever played. I still don't know why this video was recommended to me but I'm glad it was. The soothing tones of Mr. Salamone's guitar and Mason's outlandish creations intrigued me, and so immediately I went off to enjoy these recreational programs. I even purchased a t-shirt!
