I'm a little jealous of your commitment to a small table saw. I've slowly been flipping over to the MFT lifestyle and for the same footprint it seems a better bang for the buck.

Thanks! Honestly, I do go out of my way to avoid using it. If there’s a way to do it with a track saw I’ll spend time learning how to do it.

Kaizen foam is the go for storing pliers. As you suggest cut them in vertically (with finger pulls) and you will be surprised how many you can fit in and they will be neatly optimal. A cheap alternative I have been using is acoustic foam, for miscellaneous drawers where the content changes it provides a cheap alternative that does not need to be recut. The ridges prevent tools moving when you open and close drawer so you can have a neat layout where everything is adaptable as your needs change. Gearwrench make branded foam but in reality the cheaper acoustic foam is almost as good.

Thanks for watching and validating my thinking! Thats a great alternative I might need to consider.

how do you do your edge banding? I am looking for options for my small garage shop
@MasonWoodshop2 ай бұрын
Great question! For simple cabinets I generally just use iron-on birch edge banding. For anything higher end I typically use 1/4” thick poplar or maple and glue + pin nail that on then use a trim router to get a clean edge.
@nuvis21082 ай бұрын
@@MasonWoodshop I use the same iron on edge band but thinking to scale it up. Doing a lot of frameless cabinets and need to match the color of edge with door. May be a glue pod setup or a festool conturo.

Where did you get your wall control boards? And same with all the little bins in your drawers? I could use some of those.

Thanks for watching! I purchased both from Amazon and I have links in the video description to the specific products.

Nice tour. Did you get the new sys rack?

Thanks for watching! Yup, got the new SysRack and three drawer Sortainer. Posted a video on both of them, originally before this shop tour video (filmed out of order).
