Wow starring dish so nutritious as well fabulously delicious. With vibrant hue n attractive texture. I love masoor soup with veggies twice a week we have dish. Mung dal combine with masoor dal have distinctive taste. Here in Bangalore all the dhal like peas Chana green mung with less spices n without chilli just have.a flawless amotice n tastiest. As bongs we love masoor ki dal. We call it Mushuri’r dal though. We mostly do wonders with Dhuli huyi masoor dal (deskinned version/orange). We make masoor dal in all different styles- with/without onions, with/without tomatoes. Sometimes kalonji or panchforon or radhuni phoron. In summers we make it sour and tangy with raw mango, some ripened or unripened tamarind. We make khichdi, also we have traditional recipes like Mushuri’r dal er paturi. For us bori or vadi is really specially. We love to have homemade mushur dal er bori on the side for our lunch thalis. As a comfort meal, my Mom always recommends whenever you feel tired or don’t feel like cooking, boil some mushurir dal, and have it with rice, ghee, aloo sheddho and kanchalonka. Trust me its so so so comforting, like a mother’s hug❤❤❤
