In my opinion, Thane Krios is probably one of the most unique and well-developed video game characters of all time. A reputable assassin who is dying, but has honor and religion as well as formidable combat abilities, with enough information given about his past to satisfy the average person, while simultaneously maintaining a level mystery. Bioware did an exceptional job with Thane, as well as the other characters of me2.

him and garrus are the ultimate all-purpose team. heavy overload and heavy warp can hit anything, and if you're ever surround by people (namely husks on the reaper) concussive blast and throw field are perfect!

God I love assassins in stories like this. It`s just so interesting hearing about them killing targets one by one, but doing it so cleanly and professionally. And to see them do a job is really cool too. That`s why Thane is awesome.

There is actually some banter in the Citadel. In the scanning hall that opens up to the main area, one of the windows will trigger Thane's opinion on the Citadel. If Garrus is with you too, he'll chime in.

Drell lung's are adapted to arid climates. When they left Rakhana, the moisture in most atmospheres, artificial or natural, slowly and permanently damaged their lung's capability to process oxygen. It's called Kepral's and it's moderately common among any Drell who leave their environmentally controlled areas on Kahje.

Drell had to be relocated off their home world because of lack of resources. the hanar evacuated many of the drell and let them live on their home world, Kahje. But Kahje is more humid than the drell home world, so many drell would suffer from an illness called Kepral's Syndrome, because of the new climate. This disease slowly prevents the lungs from being able to take in oxygen, and it spreads to the other organs also, slowly killing the sufferer.
