This theme is the ultimate fight for good theme. Regardless of whether you were renegade or paragon, fighting the overlord and freeing david was unquestionable. It was the good fight.

Not really unquestionable. My paragon Shep didn't free David and let the experiments continue. Let one suffer to possibly save a million from suffering. Did it with quite a guilty conscience though.

I was going through a ME1 paragon to ME2 renegade to ME3 paragon boy. Mass effect 2 renegade was entertaining but it was impossible for me to make renegade decisions like these.

It's downright disturbing when you hear the A. I at the start of Overlord, it just keeps howling and roaring and snarling at you like a rabid animal. But at the end you realize, it was trying to talk to you, the whole time, David just kept screaming for help. For someone, anyone, to put him out of his misery

This also plays in the ME3 mission where you need to fuel the reactors in Cyone. When you're in combat with the marauders, exit and go to multiplayer, and play on Firebase Reactor. You'll have this soundtrack when playing on multiplayer. You may also hear the Overlord boss theme after you choose to assist or leave Captain Riley behind. Exit the game when the center Reactor room starts to open and play on Firebase Reactor in multiplayer. Same procedure as the Combat theme.

Project Overlord Battle BGM was the most intense I had ever listened to. I wished I could hear more of it. Also, the final battle is some of the most intense I had, and it's mostly thanks to this epic soundtrack giving it that feel.

A reason that Harbinger "flew away" is that he was trying to make the whole thing seem as realistic as possible, it wouldn't work if he hadn't flown away in the cutscene. Also listen to the background noises in the dream sequences and right after Shepard gets up. Yeah they sound a lot alike. Another thing, remember in ME1 "songs the color of oily shadows." Oily shadows like in shepards dreams. also in ME3 the queen says "The sour note of the machines is everywhere" you can hear it faintly in it.
